Can I Move The Mini Map To The Top Left PLEASE!!!

Can i please for the love of all that is holy, move the minimap to the top left of the screen.

Anyone that has ever played Call Of Duty will know the minimap is in the top left, and when you have played lots and lots of COD it becomes habit and even now after 2+ years of league I still look in the top left for the map.

PLEASE just add a simple option to put it in the top left, this one change would personally increase my map awareness 10x times as much, due to how I look.

League just needs an option to personalise HUD, that is: put everything wherever you want. That would solve the problem.

I REALLY need to move my minimap around freely just like chat. I think they'll never do it.. if they havent already

Please do this Riot Games. I always find myself looking at the top left as well! I completely agree with Zubat over here. It just needs to be fully customizable.

Are you left handed? Im all for options and maybe your use to left side hud but im just remember that article about vision bias. Basically if your right handed you will be better off using a right side minimap as you have a bias towards your right side peripheral vision.

Personally this is why I can't wait for the new HUD as I never notice the healthbars/ult timers peripherally and have to consciously go out of my way to see them (also why I switch minimap to right side in Dota and hate shooters that don't let me put it right side)

Also as for top/bottom. The best position would be centered (like the current player hp indicators) but ofc the tradeoff would be losing your actual peripheral sight which wouldn't be worth it.

Overall though this should all be optional stuff but before anyone mentions that it's "personal preference" remember that scientifically it's not

Riot has the screen centered in a way that takes into account the hud being in the bottom of the screen. If they allowed you to move the hud into new loctions they would have to program camera shifts for those locations.

So not going to happen.

Crap. I build games. They would not need to touch the camera. Customisation is the way to go end of story. What ever makes that particular players experience more pleasant and efficient is the way.

The placement of the mini-map is fine, because you shouldn't be looking at the top of your screen for information is given to you all on the bottom.

The HUD for Call of Duty is designed that way for consistent movement and the information given is very little compared to League's. This isn't a first person shooter, so the placement of a mini-map will always be on the bottom where your abilities go. You want to put points in abilities on the top?!

I didn't complain about the HUD in League because it's perfect, for a MOBA. The new HUD on the PBE is what I am worried about.

the perfect HUD is where the player wants it, clearly its not perfect for a lot of players, when I've been playing for 3 months and still look at the top left for the map.

please make this an option. please, i know riot doesn't listen to it's players, but for once this is a pretty sensible request and it really shouldn't be that hard to implement

I'd still like to have the option to move the mini map to the top left if possible. We should have the freedom to put it anywhere in my opinion. Some people like it to be on the left side because they're left-eye dominant. The option to put it on the bottom left doesn't make any sense for a laner as it blocks out a portion of the lane. The only streamers I see who have it on the bottom left side of the screen are junglers who are left-eye dominant, but it doesn't help laners. This is 2019, come on Riot.
