I try no to swear on these boards.... but what the fuck were they thinking? Riot was completely clueless during S6. Why? what happened? I want to know so I can protest whatever caused it to happen to repeat.

They made a change that they thought was good. Initially it was not good. They were determined to not give up and fix it. They continued to work on it. They continued to work on it. Eventually they realized it could not be fixed, but it was already most of the war through the season and way too late to change it.

Pretty close.

Their internal data pointed more towards the system having flaws they thought they could fix, rather than the system itself actually being flawed. They were also correct. The system itself was fine, however due to early problems, the players' perception about the issue did not line up with Riot's internal data.

Players are biased, and the opinion of the vocal minority should never dictate the course of the game.

ahahahahahaha

Yeah because matching up organized teams of 5 men vs. 1-1-1-1-1 randoms was a fantastic idea. Dynamic Queue was the worst thing Riot ever did.

Initially it was not good.

It was never good, it was always complete garbage... even during testing , the feedback they got was overwhelmingly negative.

Lots of things, more likely relating to Reddit than here.
