I think Riot is getting bored of their own game..

Why else would they make Ornn the way he is?

I think you're interpreting this in the completely wrong way.

Oh? How?

The way I see it, every time Riot gets their game to a balanced state they implement something to shake it all up and then we spend an entire season fixing it, so that after 1 decent season they can mess it up again.

Example? Keystones. They were a mess on release, and it took all of s6 and the shitty dynamic Q, but right now i'd say Keystones are the most balanced they have ever been. BUTTTT here comes the new rune system to shake it all up again!!!!

I'm honestly surprised they arn't reworking the jungle AGAIN like they've done every year since i started in season 4. ( to some extent ) But now they're adding this champion that just breaks the barriers in the game itself.. For what? Why.. just why??? Anyone playing this game knows the champion is going to have to be nerfed to the ground to keep all these fancy things or he is going to be beyond broken.

It's like Riot has all these definitions of what Assassins are, Burst mages, Battle mages, Juggernauts etc.. But yet when they did the reworks for Assassins, LB and Rengar were still created outside of the criteria that they needed to fit in order to be in the proper class.. How? How can basic directions be so challenging.

I'm not just bashing Riot and saying "they suck" They do a lot of things right.. But how do these small things keep making it into the game.. These are no brainers.

Because the community doesn't make a big enough outrage about it. Some people will say "Oh, that's busted." and move on. Some posts will make it to front page on reddit and fourms saying how broken he is but Riot would just release some highly anticipated skin set or legendary skin and boom everyone forgets about it. Notice how Star Guardian skins were teased literally a day after Ornn?

The community has almost no influence over what Riot decides to do.. They're going to stick to their plans regardless. Sure they might take a few suggestions into CONSIDERATION. But by no means will they drop their plans to fix what the community thinks is an issue.

There are champions that fully demonstrate this. Sona's Rework.. Karmas.. Rengars... etc Even if the mains hate something, Riot won't change it if its "ok" to them.
