My only issue with Veigar is how short the CD on his stun gets (8.4 seconds)

Lets face it, he's running 40% CDR, putting his team fight winning godly stun on an 8.4 seconds CD around level 13.

The down time were you can engage on Veigar or his team when he misses it is pretty much non-existent.

no, he lvl up his W secondly or he won't have damage, with 40% cdr he won't have a lot of AP and his E will only have 12 seconds cd. by the way let's forget that it costs 100 mana if you lvl it.

His w is only gaining 50 damage per level, and its mana cost goes up as well. Pretty much everyone in higher tier play maxes E second, your W only does damage if you can stun them long enough for it to hit, and tenacity means you need a good amount of points in it before that happens.

5 mana per level is not going to prevent anyone from putting points in it, and by the time they reach that point they have built either grail or morello's in the first place.

He doesn't build 40% CDR, he builds either morellos or grail. You're right about maxing E second though. The fact stands that his winrate jump literally only happened because of the buff this patch. Undo it and he's fine.

A lot of Veigars run 15% scaling CDR on their runes to get to 40%.

I think the buffs were the proper direction to take him, I'd rather have them take power off something else rather than revert the buffs.

But the stun is still easy to avoid, so CD really doesn't matter a lot.

CD matters even more when a skill is easy to avoid - it means they can fish with it, capitilizing on the one time it does hit.

Its really not easy to avoid unless your champion has a dash/blind anyway, though. At the best you will be stuck in the center.

It's because they changed how his E works in the last patch. Before that, he was fine.

The hell? Did i miss something? It must have been during the like 3-4 month break i took but when did people start complaining about Veigar? Last i checked people were still complaining how weak his stun was... this is like the 100th post ive seen in the last 2 days complaining about Veigar and specifically his stun! I remember when i was the only person telling everyone that his stun was fine and still powerful, but i got downvoted into oblivion now everyone is saying its too OP? geez you people...

My only issue is that people troll too much in League.
