An idea for atma's that should follow Riots design philosophy

So the historical problem with Atma's is that it gave direct offense for defense, which Riot found problematic. So here's my ideas

Wicked hatchet + chain vest + 1050 combine = 3000

45 AD 15% crit 45 armor Unique passive: critical hits bleed your opponent by X% ad over 3 seconds. Unique Active: gain (1% of your max health)% increased size and 10% additional health for 10 seconds. 90 second cool down

Obviously numbers can be adjusted but here's what this does:

  1. Gives an ad/armor item, which is missing from the game
  2. Gives bruisers more actives, they have almost none to deal with, actives are cool.
  3. Gives a form of defensive scaling which scales off of another stat but doesn't give damage. Also the additional size scaling off of health is a fun mechanic, like Zacs size. Say the size scaling was 1% of hp and you had 3000 hp, you'd gain 30% increased size.
  4. The active encourages defensive stats to deter ranged carries from buying.

Thoughts?

No, bleed effects are autistic. Give it proper stats or let it rot in its grave, like HoG.

It would require porting Wicked Hatchet over to SR. But would that be a bad thing?

Overall, though, it looks like a neat concept. Especially since it does not have overwhelming early power in certain lane match-ups, like a lot of the other suggestions for AD/Armor items.

I assume the bleed scales on total AD? And does it do magic or physical damage?

Doesn't seem very cost-efficient tbh. Atma's at it was left costed 2300 gold and stats were pretty much the same. And it was a very weak item when it was removed. So I'm pretty sure this item would be weak.

Bruisers have a shit ton of actives.

item 3143 item 3142 item 3153

What do mages have? item 3157

ADCs have either nothing or item 3140 .

The only class with more actives is supports.

Sounds interesting, but a lot of people don't like fighting bruisers for some reason.

So it might get downvoted anyways. But I think an active that isn't Randiuns for Bruisers would be a very good idea. It isn't as tanky as Randiuns so it seems fair in the sense it has a form of trade off to offset giving it damage. Synergy especially with trinity or Frozen Mallet also is interesting. Although I could imagine some edge cinderhulk cases potentially being abused with it. Causing the champion to be nerfed.
