If you look at the class updates so far, they've all made every champion ridiculously OP for at least a few patches. (And the ADCs are still too strong several patches later)

Right now the meta doesn't favor him much. I love playing him, and I am a bit worried what their 'update' might do to him -> sorta like how a bunch of adcs not named kalista/lucian/ez/jinx are collecting dust.

Why? His stun was straight up cheese before, and now he's got some great long-range poke, and he can farm twice as fast. I don't get what people don't like about him; I only stared playing Veigar post-rework, and he feels fair and fun enough for me to main him.

You mean made him more than just plain ol single target burst, got his shit stun eventually fixed, then overbuffed for no reason?

Or the rise of the assassins and the "mash buttons as quickly as possible" game that made Veigar look like the biggest short joke of League?

I never said the rework was bad, but following it (like a day and two after) boards / veigar mains exploded in disappointment but obviously we had to adapt to it. i've played this champion to diamond over 3 times, he was alright last season but let's face it. he's shit now.

what i meant by this post is that it could make him worse and (look at some of the AP item changes) lol

Also, where the heck are you getting veigar being played like a lane bully? when were his scalings ever touched? actually, his scalings were NERFED (120% > 100% ult) so I don't know where you're getting your info from but I generally believe you're misunderstood so it doesn't matter.
