With how shields are becoming quite more common on items and champions, and with upcoming mastery/rune changes, shields may become too strong for ARAM. I fear that champions like Karma or Sona who can shield their entire team may become near impossible to play against. Maybe reduce their effectiveness by half similar to how heal is once mastery/ rune changes happen.
Karbuncle2 votesKarma's shield is already being gutted into a speed buff that just happens to have a shield. Some characters are broken on aram some are near useless it's been like that since day 1 you'll need a lot more changes than shield nerfs.
JavelinJoe1 votesYes, but when the shielding rune comes out where excess healing becomes a shield, like Bloodthurster's passive, then everyone will have a full strength shield at full health always from these uber healers and shielders since only healing is reduced, not shielding.
