When did lulu start being played almost entirely mid?

She's mostly a support in solo queue.

But not all champions are stuck to one role. She can mid just fine, and she's balanced as to not be overbearing in that role.

Nothing wrong with champions going to more than one lane, right?

I bought her to play as a support, but her mana costs are ridiculous. I think mids can get better access to early mana regen compared to supports. I have to get my second teir support item, and then my sightstone, then more mana regen as a support, making her mana costs really prohibitive.

She was always played mid, even from her release.

For the record she could always mid, it just took those changes for people to realize that omg supports can be more than ward bots if they buy actual ITEMS!

Lulu is a shitty support thats why. I prefer her mid anyways and ap lulu mid is really good if u have a good team.
