So, I want an assassin with invisibility.

I really like stealth -- in MMOs, shooters, everything. And while I own Shaco and Eve, neither is very demanding mechanically, and not super fun. So I've been looking at Talon and Kha.

Are either of them fun, mechanically complex (not just AA spam or targeted abilities) and able to actually compete with people and outplay them?

assassins can never "outplay" anyone, they can only kill people who let their guard down in the first place, thats why they are assassins. the "hardest to play" is probably talon tho he is also not very hard and not very complex. assassins are never really complex.

also depending on what you wanna do. shaco and eve sound like jungling and talon surely cant jungle. if yo uwanna jungle, go rengar or khazix. rengar is better and khazix is more fun.

Well, you know, I think "outplaying" someone is more about the person behind the champ, not the champ itself. :P Some kits are more prone to outplaying people, but it's always a possibility -- even on an ADC who does nothing but click on people, or one of those old, one-sided champs.

"outplaying" isnt even a thing. there is just this "Oh i used my abilities like shit so he can dodge them for free".

if you know with certainty what your enemy champ can do when, you cant be outplayed and its all about expectation, and if two really really really good players would face eachother, they would probably never fight because they would know if they could win or not.

Oh rengar is kinda up there, he does have some form of skillshot if thats what you look for xD

Assassins aren't particularly complex in most regards however if you are looking for a challenging assassin I would suggest Yasuo. Although his mid is currently meta he can be played top rather well. Of the ones you suggest likely the most mechanically commanding would be Talon where Kha'Ziz demands less mechanics but a larger over arking strategy. However currently I find invisibility somewhat restrictive and underpowered.

Eh, I own Yasuo and, while he's fun, he's just not really what I'm looking for. He's more about how fast you can react and move, and how well you know your opponent's kit in order to play around it.

I want a champion who pops out, kills you, and disappears just as quickly only to go get their victim. xD If you ever played WoW, Wildstar or any MMO like that, think Rogues (WoW), Stalkers (Wildstar), Thief (RIFT), etc.

I mean, he's really not.

Good luck.

Sorry to dissapoint but Talon and kha are completely braindead champs...if you want some mechanically complex champs(there is no such thing in LoL but there are differences in difficulty) try other roles

Yeah, there really are no hard or even slightly challenging champs in this game, and I really don't enjoy it all that much, but I have nothing else to play, unfortunately.

Right.

Thats because league is strategically complex rather than mechanically complex You need planning to succeed

In terms of assassin mechanics most of the time all it boils down to is how fast you can complete your combo.

Shaco is insanely complex.

Niyumi1 votes

Sure, but his kit is boring. All targeted abilities and AA.

Evelynn is super easy, but knowing when to fight is important as hell

And if you want a hyper complex assassin, best i can possibly say is rengar atm Lot of interaction in his kit, but the world will hate you

Kha'zix actually does require a degree of skill to play well. Unless you get stupidly fed and can just smash your keyboard to get results, you need to be calculating with the uses of your ultimate in addition to timing your resets on your E for quick plays. The only thing I dislike about Kha'zix is that once he's behind, he's behind. It's rare that I've ever seen one become relevant, especially if you play him in the jungle.

Talon is the most strategically complex, considering once he does something, he sort of just sits there on the corpse, whereas kha'zix has resets.
