Does split pushing feel really weak this season?

I had a 70% winrate with singed last season, doing nothing but split pushing. This season I can't do shit, I feel like I'm just wasting time split pushing. My winrate has absolutely fucking plummeted.

I'm 2-4 right now, and while that is a pretty small sample size, I still just feel so much weaker.

It does feel that way, actually most of the games I just feel REALLY weak, or REALLY strong.

This season really makes you wonder what the heck is EXP. I kill my lane opponent, I am now 3 levels ahead, stomping them til they RQ/AFK or vice versa.

Feels like the only means of winning this game is out leveling your opponent this season which gives no counterplay anymore Lol.

I don't even know what to do anymore, clearly I'm doing something wrong since I'm losing so many now and I climbed so easily last season. I'm getting plenty of farm every match, and I'm doing pretty well in lane, but then I just feel like I can't do shit. It feels like people are snowballing REALLY hard off of kills while at the same time simply farming for gold feels really ineffective. AP items especially feel way too expensive and take way too long to get. Assassins and any carry who happens to get an early kill absolutely fucking carries the shit out of the game, which means as a player who plays almost entirely tanks, I'm fucked, because they end up snowballing hard before I can even get enough resists to do anything.

Plus just split pushing alone feels really bad, it feels so slow and ineffective compared to last season. most of the time they can just ignore me.

Which is why I started having decent success with malzahar, but a lot of the time the snowballing is just too much too quick to deal with.

split pushing is really strong this season actually.

death timers are stupidly long, so its better to try and pick people off and splitpush while avoiding to group than risk it all in one teamfight.

Singed is really struggling this season, but I would expect that with the winrate I had last season, that if split pushing were really strong, I would atleast be winning more than I'm losing regardless of the percent. But split pushing just feels useless.

maybe its just singed who is weak this season. splitpushing in general is strong.

1-3-1 split is really strong right now if you're ahead. 1-4-0 if you're even. Split pushing is just not a good idea when you're behind. With how snowball-y the game is, chances are, your team can't hold them off or their split pusher is stronger than you.
