why does cait (traps) headshot hit for so much

way back when.. like in season 3 Nidalee traps and Caitlyn traps were pretty much exactly the same... they both did 80 damage at lvl 1 and they both games the same amount of damage per rank

nidalee traps revealed and slowed and cut mr and armor cait traps revealed and rooted and per passive headshot did 150% damage to champs (

now in 4.10 nid's traps where changed with her rework to make it so when when they step on a trap her takedown and her pounce would be empowered

takedown deals 7 / 42 / 77 / 136 (+ 105% AD) (+ 56% AP)

so when i land a spear or they step on a trap my takedown becomes that strong

but when when somone steps on a cait trap what happens now?

they used to be rooted..

but NOW?

well if they step on a trap cait next basic attack gets 1300 range(its a basic attack not a ability that goes on cooldown.) she also donest need a SKILL to close the distance.

so 2 of nidalee skills go on cooldown...

cait headhot gets 50% armor pen fro passive it gets Bonus damage increased to 50% + (critical strike chance × 1 + (0.5 × bonus critical strike damage))% AD from (+ 50% AD)

PLUS they get 10% bonus damage for each level of trap.

so thats 50% armor pen

  • 50% extra damage + (critical strike chance × 1 + (0.5 × bonus critical strike damage))% AD from (+ 50% AD)
  • 10/20/30/40/50% extra damage

zero abilties go on cooldown. and its long ranged...

if nidalee gets hunted proced by a spear or a trap

she gets 7 / 42 / 77 / 136 (+ 105% AD) (+ 56% AP) 200 range takedown skill with a 6 second cooldown

and a 750 range pounce...

now if i did my math wrong feel free to correct me...

but... when i land a max range spear on cait and it hits for 600 (and decide not to go in because it isn't safe)

and the same cait then autos me after i step on a trap almost an entire screen away.. and it hits me for 800..

i dont really feel outplayed...

... yeah and if your "foolish" enough to step on nid's traps you take 20 damage...

that seems fair...

Caitlyn's traps alone do 0 damage. You're complaining about the follow up from traps, which Nidalee has follow up after the traps, unless she's across the map.

Nidalee has to be within 750 range AND it has to be safe to pounce in... Caitlyn needs to be within `1300 range and doesn't need to endanger herself

There are way too many counters to Caits traps, beginning with right click....

tl;dr

If youre dumb enough to step on a trap that literally doesnt move, you outplayed yourself.

You're doing a horrible job at getting your point across. Basically the threat level of stepping on a Cait trap is high where as the threat level of stepping on a Nidalee trap is not and that not even compared to cait but pretty much every other trap in the game
