She is far superior as an adc when she was suppose to be a support. If Riot does not strip free crit from senna then she will always be a better adc that is unbalanced compared to her support counterpart which sucks ass. https://u.gg/lol/champions/senna/build -----> that is the support win rate

She is classified as a support, but she still plays better as an adc.

Not to mention out of the last ten champions 5 of them are bot lane oriented and out of those 5 are adcs and 2 of them are supports

she was meant to be both a support and an adc. so her fitting one more than the other isn't really a big deal.

Right, I've heard they will try to balance it out so that Senna is equally viable in support and adc as best they can. But one of the two will obviously surpass the other at least a bit.

Beyond that, her "support" design is simply her passive - which shes punished for solo laning with - and the heal tacked onto her Q. She is a carry first and formost, riots second overt step into the duo carry bot lane with the first being Pyke.

If you check her kit, all her abilities provide utility. Her Q is an AoE heal, her W is a delayed or situationally instantaneous AoE Root, her E is an AoE camouflage with a Speed boost and her ult provides an AoE Shield. Pyke doesn't even compare to her in terms of utility.

And even as an ADC, the main reasons she is picked are her very high utility and safety, not her damage. Because of her really low Crit Damage and Attack Speed, both her DPS and Burst suck compared to a Crit Carry. However, if her team collapses on somebody, she has all the tools to assist them from safety.

I think there needs to be a delineation here; A support is a champion who scales with mostly AP and allows their carry or team to perform to the fullest while taking on the duties of vision.

Senna and pyke are not supports, rather, theyre duo lane champions who are tagged as supports due to riots prescription of meta (saying someone was meant for the duo lane didnt go over well with old morde, so riot has been avoiding that). Pyke and Senna are both auxiliary carries of the AD variety, meant to get kills alongside their team and have a myriad of bonuses to make up for the fact that they start on a support budget; Pyke has his unfair heal and very strong execute, Senna has her passive thats worth thousands of gold and is easier than a nasus with an AFK lane to stack. Senna has the tools every modern marksman (Aphelios isnt modern... hes chrome) has; Self peel, self sustain, self engage, self escape... She has nothing that screams support - just a marksman kit with an infinitely scaling passive and a superfluous heal tacked on to her Q.

The crit almost does NOTHING for her. The mechanism is actually a nerf. It means she can never do 200% damage. With the Current HP passive, her best is always going to be 130% Crit + 20% Current HP.

While I agree with Senna being stronger as an ADC than as a support, they made her a "support" just to allow people to play Senna and Lucian together. They definitely should orient her kit to be more of a support. However, the argument that half of the past 10 new champs are bot lane oriented is silly. If you click on the tabs for Top, Jungle, and Mid there are TWICE as many champions to chose from as there are ADC and Support. Having more options to chose from bot lane has been a blessing for those who main bot lane.

Did you even look at the link? In all mid to high elo gameplay senna adc is far superior to support senna.
