Can Sona finally get an ARAM-specific nerf?

It is beyond time that she was knocked down a peg or 2. A 70% consistent win rate which has been around for what seems like forever. It is getting to a point where if you are against a Sona in ARAM, you might as well FF or open mid because you just can't win against her on an even remotely fair basis. This should justify an ARAM-specific nerf since ARAM is the only area where she is super OP/Broken.

Why? Is it the narrow lane for ult? It is just her poke?

She offers so much for a forced 5v5, 1 lane, random champion fight.

Healing, high damage poke, AOE stun, shielding, movement speed, and all of it is AOE/multi-target. Dont forget she has a multitude of debuffs she can give to an enemy and has built in max CDR.

Basically she can cover all her team's weaknesses caused by random selection.

Short answer is that Sona is designed to excel when grouped with her team, and it's fairly difficult to not be grouped with your team in ARAM. As such, all of Sona's team utility (e.g. shield, damage, MS) is readily accessible.

Unfortunately, as mentioned in the 7.1 patch notes and later reiterated by ManWolfAxeBoss, Riot has no plans to do map-specific balancing anymore. Maybe they'll reconsider though if enough people ask for it on the Boards or via Ask Riot.
