Didn't play ranked for a month 'cuz of tilt...

Demoted from d2 to d5 with all the games being over in 10 mins. Took a month break off of ranked. Played 2 games today to start the climb again. Hmmmmmmmmmm, K DEN. I didn't plan on staying sane anyway. I actually think someone put a curse on my account, because this is just insane. From d1 promos to d5 0 LP and keep losing. What the fuck ?!

Eh, the main issue is that games are being determined too easily within the first couple of minutes so it leaves people with minimal options for a comeback.

Eh, the main issue is how shitty matchmaking is Fify

I suspect the number of games where one team kills the Nexus and the other team has a maximum of two tower kills is higher this year.

Well I have never been close to diamond so can't really offer advice there. I will say meta does seem to be more early game focused currently than last season and I can imagine its even worse in diamond compared to gold/silver. But the fact that snowballing is even a thing in low elo kind of shows that early game meta is here.

This might sound dumb but your problem may just be bad luck and attitude. Once again, I am low elo so there probably more to it but my worst fall from what I remember was a couple seasons ago when I dropped from silver 1 promos to silver 4 almost 0 lp in less than a week. That fall really pissed me off and I ended up taking a break from the game for awhile like you did. When I came back I felt refreshed, more focused, and more willing to look past teammates mistakes and just focused on myself. I ended up going on a crazy streak of like 19-1 or something and hit silver 1 for the first time ever. Then slowly made my way up to gold for my first time from there.

Similar shit happened to me this season as well. I was pissed off I just didn't want to have to play through silver again. I just wanted to be gold and be done with the climb. I was stuck in silver 2 for a couple weeks and tilting my face off and commenting on the boards a lot. Finally I just accepted I had not adjusted to new jungle changes. Then a weekend of good luck and improved play/focus and I went on a 17-3 streak to get back into gold.

Obviously the elos are much different but just trying to say. You probably just need to get back to your roots and play your core champions in your main role. Or if there no longer super meta maybe try and pickup your favorite meta champ in your role and just spam the shit out of them for awhile. Meta champs more important in diamond than low elo so it obviously different than my experience. But... if you did the climb once you can do it again.

Same. From d3 promos all the way down to plat 2 and now hardstuck. Every single game someone goes 0/8 (jungle or adc mostly) and i have no idea how to carry something like that. Especially when i get toplane. It tilts me just so hard that in the following games i mostly int feed or troll. It's not fun anymore. I can acknowledge when i play like shit but the amount of literal intfeeder going 0/8 in 12 mins just baffles and i have no idea why this is happening so frequently.

I have discovered that plat is even more volatile than gold and silver.

On average, the players ARE better, but I think that some players got there because of #mechanicz, and some players got there because they played the map and aren't very good mechanically, and those two groups are always gonna be mad at each other.

I win games where I want to tear my hair out, because I have a Yasuo AND a Riven, and neither one will group, and we just win cause they're snowballing so hard. And that's normal to them; they have no idea how to get objectives.

Other games, I win because while my team kinda sucks mechanically, we all just go the objectives in harmony, and everyone kind of knows where to be instinctively. We don't play that well, but we position VERY well, and it feels like I mostly won because the other team was stupid, not because we were good.

And the rest are the ones where I have two kinds of players on my team, and I lose. Usually flaming happens at some point.

If you have an objective-based (but poor mechanically) jgler and a mechanically based-laner, you get a REALLY nice combination.
