Global ultimates and why nerfs are unbalanced.
All had their ultimates nerfed. TF the least, but still a decent amount.
Is very hard to land, and gives a massive indicator of where he's landing so anyone with 405 MS can walk out of it.
While it does give that odd blindness, the blindness itself only lasts 4 seconds (3 if you actually want to dash) and the damage is only a little more than a basic, and less than a critical hit early on, when it's supposed to be most useful.
's Is a lot better than
's, since the sight lasts longer and it has much higher rank 1 range even if it doesn't do damage.
But they came out with
. Yes, she needs tunnels to use the ability but you can't just walk around destroying every single one, and you can't destroy on she's using the ability on.
Now the real issue is
. When you think L$CBIGPLAY$, you think
and
right? Well how about the champ with a global presence enough to turn every fight into a 2v1 or 3v2, and a shield to stop you from killing anyone who's right next to him or across the map from him? The champ who can do well with almost any damage item
as long as the rest of his build is tank.
I understand that the ultimate is a key part of playing him, but when the rest of the global champions were nerfed for being too overbearing, why is the guy who can teleport to allies and shield them still able to do it from the well?
The only hopes any of the other ones had of saving an ally like that were killing/CCing the enemy, which doesn't change your ally's survivability to actually ensure that. And
has that _taunt _ anyway, so he still has the CC to ensure the save even after he's shielded them.
I'm not saying Shen is overpowered, but if global presence was such a problem that all of his competition had to be nerfed it's still an issue with him.
There's also the fact he runs on Energy when the rest need mana items, and his ultimate doesn't even have a cost.
