So, Jhin. Do you think he'd be able to jungle, like Graves and Kinny can? 'cause, if he can... I'd "gank" by just sniping people from the jungle. xD Will be the greatest thing ever!

But seriously, I don't like being forced to stay in just one lane, so I'll be experimenting with him in different roles and lanes come launch (or maybe I'll get picked for the PBE for the first time ever? xD)!

In order for him to jungle though, his traps would have to work on jungle mobs, and his W would have to be able to root them as well -- is that how it works, or are my dreams just that?

I'd imagine not as his attackspeed issue would already give him bad enough wave clear in lane so he would absolutely fail in the jungle. If it makes you feel any better Phreak will still probably play him jungle in the champion spotlight knowing him.

Well, Graves starts out with like... a .49 AS, and clears just fine. I'd imagine Jhin has a bit more than that, and he can use his traps and W to kite a lot, I'd imagine.

I'm still goinna try and see if he can jungle. :P But I'll never get in the PBE, so by the time I try jungling, it'd be too late to ask to make it viable somehow (like, what if he can't root mobs, but only champions? That'd suck).

Graves is also an AD caster with an AoE AA, so he's got that going for him.

I'd like to see Jhin jungle (just out of curiosity), but I feel like he'd take too long to be relevant and would just get invaded and killed.

Well, Jhin's traps are AoE damage (and they look like they pack a punch, too), and his W and Q are also multi-target. So he has a lot of AoE, but I wonder how well it would all work, or if it even works on jungle mobs.

I imagine he'd be like a Kinny or Graves jungle though -- kind of squishy, so you have to be good to pull it off. Hell, I do level 2 invades with Graves and get FB a lot of the time.

No no no there's a difference. graves auto attacks are by default extremely fast at casting so in reality his actual attack speed is around 1.00 at start, but Jihns autos will work like normal unlike graves.

Well... no. He fires, pumps his gun, and fires again. At level 1, this is like, a little less than 1 auto a second. I think, with my runes and masteries, I have like a .49 starting AS. Of course, if you AA>E>AA, you can kind of cheat it with some animation cancelling voodoo, but his E has a lengthy CD until you put some points into it.

Does Q not AA cancel?

On topic: Probs won't work in the jg. Probs will work mid or top.

No, his Q doesn't AA cancel -- but he can AA during the Q animation, it's kind of wonky.
