Can somebody explain as best as they can why Jhin is op and banned so much?

I personally don't have issues playing vs Jhins, he synergizes well with his team to set him up and he doesn't feel overloaded(imo). I see him banned a lot but dont know why. I know him using dft is a disgusting combination but is that the real reason?
