What happened to the Warden class?

Remember how back in previous seasons there were always 2 types of tank supports. Those who engage and those who peel with cc. Now the only tank supports are engage and it’s very annoying because as a support you either pick fragile peel mages that get one shot or pick tanks who are expected to be the front line because once you go in, you can’t really just walk backwards to peel for your adc because your won’t adapt to you suddenly leaving the frontline to peel.

Why is it that all the wardens either got gutted or lost their peel abilities. Tahm got moved to top, Braum is useless right now because he uses so much mana and can’t tank anything, Gallo got gutted. The only ones left are Shen and Poppy but they don’t even go support. It’s stupid that the only ones that can act as Wardens are not even supports.

Why is it that Shen and Poppy can peel better than the tank supports designed to actually peel. All we have is Taric and as much as I like him I get sick of choosing him every game just so I can peel while avoiding being one shot.

They simply fell out of Meta? It’s currently better to be aggressive than reactive.

Thresh is still one of the top supports in the game and is currently far stronger than taric.

Why are you being disingenuous? Like your title is about the class but then you only talk about how SUPPORTS are bad like WHAT. Also the majority of wardens are top laners bruam and tahm are the only two supports, taric is a enchanter first then a tank, galio was almost never a support and support galio basically not no nerfs for it soo idk what your talking about.

Here is how support works you pick a enchanter if you want peel, you pick a tank if you want engage, you pick a mage if you want damage. That is a very general overview of the support lane but champions like braum are a outlier and always have been. Wardens are a majority top based class.
