I understand his constant poke and tower taking abilities make him quite rough to go against. Especially against someone who isnt used to it. But could a champion without the tower push, and maybe with more cc and support synergy such as 
(first cc mage to come to mind) do the job better?
Basically id like to know everyone's thoughts on who would work well botlane apc.
Dynikus1 votesThis seems to be another one of those examples of people not really understand why something works, and just following it blindly. Ziggs bot doesn't work simply because he's a mage. It works because he's very very good at sieging towers. He always has been, it's just the weakness of bot tower that brought him into the bot lane recently. Just because Ziggs is going bot, doesn't mean any mage can go there and do just as well. ADCs, regardless of what the boards try to say, are still better at sieging than most champions, and still work well bot.
Yes, ziggs is the best apc to take bot. Others, like Kennen or TF, can work, but they're not great there.

i literally wrote in my first sentence that i understood his siege potential. Obviously its not because hes a mage, there are far better mages out there than ziggs.
Akenero1 votesXerath or Azir could also work well, as could Taliyah Basically any long range poke mage will work in the role, but ziggs is best since he has tower pressure.
