You cannot afford to roam. You are stuck with the role you landed and likely chose. YOu need to ensure that asshole does not push to your inhibitor and beyond. Drakes are the opposite side of you, your jungle has priorities that need handling before they can lend you assistance. Mid lane is likely playing an assassin or an immobile mage who cannout yet burst your enemy down from 100 to zero in a single spell rotation.

So, if you are top and you are pitted against a split pusher, do your team a favor, stay put.

Yes because its not like theres champs that will nonstop split because theres absoloutly nothing you can do vs them, regardless if you stay or not to contest them. Nope, not a single one Tryndamere Nasus Shen Trundle Yorick .

Maybe instead of pushing all the pressure on the top laners, you can also get your lazy ass to help too? Especially if you are doing worse than the toplaner in said game, so it isnt a 3v5 with the toplaner whos actually decently farmed always has to be there while you are getting instakilled or do no dmg because of a bad early game.

Top lane is a shit role, and the only way it even remotely works now is if someone else decides to help it, be it jungle ganks, or alternating the contesting of the splitpushers.
