Shields need to be countered by items the same way healing is!

an ADC who builds item 3812 (reduces damage that could be lifestealed back) / item 3072 (grants you a shield) with [[Warlord's Bloodlust]], got a supp that can shield/heal him/her (Lulu , Janna ,Karma etc) , being supported by item 3190 + item 3107 + item 3504 which both could be increased by [[Windspeaker's blessing]] + item 3107 + item 3504 is disgusting, and the reason why adc snowball and become unkillable.

I get that healing got a "counter-item", but I'm not sure if it really counters it THAT much since it doesnt provide any further and measurable description. item 3033 item 3075 item 3123 says they apply grievous wounds, but why doesnt it tell the exact number of healing % it reduces? It used to be around 40%, but imo even 40% is not considered grievous wounds, it needs to be at least 70% because thats the purpose of it, to massively reduce your healing outcome from ANY AND EVERY source.

Shields need a new mechanic/item/mastery or whatever that needs to be added to the game to reduce it's effectiveness as well, or in certain cases, some champs need to at least be able to damage the enemy ignoring their shields and reducing their healing, Talon for example who's got "BLEED" passive should be doing that already.

and while I'm at it fix that Talon "E" backflip bug already. I'm sick of constantly outplaying myself.

As long as it only effects shields applied by others and not self applied shields, I'm fine.

Though frankly I still think it's a bad idea as now it's just an arms race. We shouldn't use GW as a healthy mechanic because it purposely puts certain champions in the gutter since without it those champions would run amok.

Personally, I'd be wary of such a mechanic, because Grievous Wounds is directly behind a lot of healing being inflated to the point of being excessive on its own. Life steal is a prime example of this, as the popularity of Morellonomicon (and, to a much lesser extent, the new Thornmail) has caused its numbers to creep up to the point of exceeding the healing of many supports. If the issue is with shields being too strong as a baseline, I think it would be better to tackle the problem at the source, see which shields are too strong or too common, and either tone them down or remove them if needed. Bloodthirster could easily have its shield converted into bonus health, as that's functionally what the mechanic does, Locket of the Iron Solari could be made a more niche pick for dedicated tank supports (and just those, not regular supports or tanks) via less efficient stats, and bonus healing/shielding power should probably get looked at in the future, as it exclusively favors defensive abilities on supports when they should have all of their utility, including their offensive utility and CC, enhanced.
