Why Doesn't Maokai Build Warmogs?

Is it because his passive, with enough defense, does the job? Or is it because health is supplied by his more meta build at this time?

While his innate would heal for more, it already heals for a lot. When one has a lot of healing, the value of resistances is increased.

With that said, I haven't done the math regarding Warmog's on Maokai, but given that it's not that great on everyone else, I imagine it's not that great on him.

well coming from a maokai main i havent ever once consider warmogs

but ill state that i tend to play him more of a juggernaut instead of pure tank

i have been know to build item 3027 item 3068 item 3065 item 3151 item 3025 and before the abyssal rework i would use it instead of spirit visage to max out ap damage but this was also when he had % hp damage on W instead of E i have even built item 3025 item 3053 on him with zero ap

most commonly now i tend to build item 3001 item 3025 item 3068 item 3075

but all this being said i have had games where i had 75K+ plus damage to champ 80K+ damage to champs and in alot of games i can be in the top in terms of damage dealt to champs in a game
