Can you please tweak leagues remake system?

I was just in a game where thresh was disconnected for the first 15 -20 minutes. We literally couldnt remake. The option, wasnt there. I lost lp because i couldnt win a 4v5 like ? I mean im sure this is probably a bug or something but honestly thats such b.s, can Riot maybe tweak and bug fix it?
