Why I don't want Wukong nerfed.

This is my favorite Wukong build for team fight comps. If Wukong gets hard nerfed due to synergy (which works well on damn near any champ, including ) Wukong mains like me get fucked without compensation.

This Wu build is magical if your team has AoE to clean up your engage.

It gives you enough sustain to channel your full ult within 5 enemy champs and reduce their healing. This build let's me satisfy the Diver/Vanguard build for my team if we don't have any hard engage.

If Wu gets nerfed, I know for a fact it'll be a hit to his damage. This build, while absolutely God-tier for starting teamfights and coming out on top (WeAAqAAr), lacks damage makes him useless if his team isn't around to help him.

So what you're saying is that you want a build that functions as:

a diver
a CC engage
drain tank
strong damage source

And you're worried you're going to lose the last one because of justified nerfs.

Literally, nerfing Wukong would still leave Khazix Kayn Rengar Talon Shaco Pantheon Pyke Quinn Zed Nocturne JarvanIV LeeSin Akali broken because they use the same items just as effectively if not more effective than Wukong.

As a diamond 3 wukong main, this guy has no clue what hes talking about. Wukong is no "drain tank" he relies solely on his ability to teamfight and blow up low health squishies to make an impact in the late game. Due to almost every single toplane matchup being a hard matchup for wukong, people have moved him into jungle and midlane for an easier laning phase. The recent nerfs to wukongs q has made him literally unplayable. Without enough late game scaling to be relevant late game, he can be easily bullied out of lane in the early game due to his lack of innate sustain. so now he cant assasinate any squishy champions. Has no sustain to win extended trades with juggernauts or tanks, got no compensation in tankiness for his loss of damage making him unviable as a tank shredder, lacks enough cc and tankiness to go full tank and cant even remain in the pitiful state hes in right now. Riot might as well just be marking him unplayable until he gets a rework because he literally has no place in the meta if the q nerfs make it to live.

I believe he's talking about the OP's build specifically. Drain tank as Spirit Visage + Death's Dance(a near unkillable combination for most champions who can use the combo), makes them drain tanks. Wukong players don't play Wukong like a diver anymore, except this guy obviously. They play him pure assassin.

It's actually very strong on Akali and Eve who can still go item 3100 and AP after.

Duskblade Lich Bane TF works, too.

Don't knock it before you try it. Akali is on par with Kha'zix for DB procs and Teemo can proc it nonstop it lane.

Spellblade items don't stack. Whichever item does more damage takes effect. Building Lich and Trinity is expensive to begin with and you end up wasting a ton of gold in the process.

At no point did I ever state, hint or imply building item 3078 item 3025 item 3100 together. The core item, the problem item, is Duskblade. The other 2 items, StormRazor and Triforce are for AD.

For AP, you build Lich Bane after DB and switch to AP build. Akali would most likely be going Gunblade.

I apologize for lack of clarity, but I thought it was common sense. The bonus damage from DB is flat. So it'll proc the same damage regardless of builds. That's something that can easily be abused by Akali against a melee mid, Teemo against a bruiser.

If you want me to add you in-game on my main account, we can experiment with it so you can see how OP it is on any champ that can proc stealth.

Rengar top lane forces you to always have a ward in the bush, which forces you to stop pushing to avoid his DB proc leaps or open yourself up to ganks since you're using all your vision on Rengar.
