The good old days when...
when team composition really meant something and average game length was 45+ minutes.
when team composition really meant something and average game length was 45+ minutes.
I started during S3 and each 2 weeks I was enthusiastic for the patch notes. Every 2 weeks the game got better for almost 2 years. Since halfway S5 when Sated Devourer got introduced was the keypoint of no return. The game has gone downhill ever since. Its absolute downfall was worst season ever S6. I quit the game for months and all my friends I used to play with quit forever. Season 7 doesn't look like its going to be much better.
Even the boards seems kind of dead. Only see the same people posting everyday. Less content is being made on youtube etc. I firmly believe League won't last another 2 years the way its going.
The whole problem is there are some people who take bad decision after bad decision for 2 years but are never fired
The good old days of AP Yi, AP Trynd, release Aatrox, release TF, release Leblanc, Eve with a stun, DFG one-shots in a second, the tank meta, Udyr, Teemo running at Mach 5, with his shrooms lasting 10 minutes, with much higher ratios, the horror of on-hit items being OP, Kassadin 95% ban rate, and numerous others.
the good ol days when alistar was actually meant to go top, and i actually still used to go alistar top until they removed his ad from his ult
I have 3 pentakills with new Alistar. His new E is OP top lane. You have to be against a freaking AD melee champ to make good use of him though. I normally go
. Completely melts all melee AD champs.
i still like old alistar where i would go
and then have insane ad with my ult
The good old days when I could still pick Taric Top or Malz mid and actually kill someone on my own and invade the jungler at lv 6.
Malz still fully capable of the solo kill bro lol not sure about Taric top, haven't tried that since like S4.
