How does "Summon Aery" work?

Ok sure but why··1 votes·13,304 views

I wasn't blessed with getting a PBE account, so I can't really tell how it works. I have guesses, but I'd rather not look like a clown because of them.

Anyone mind lending a hand?

when your abilities hit an enemy or ally (not only shields or heals, it works with every ability that can be used on your allies, like sona's Q and E buff, nami's E),aery goes on your target shielding or damaging him, then aery starts to walk towards you and when it comes back you can proc it again

Whe you heal Aery will shield the guy who you got the heal. When you make dmg Aery will deal bonus dmg to the enemy.

I get that much, but how is it applied? Is it DOT like the current Deathfire's Touch? Is it instant? How long does it stick to an enemy, and why does it do that? Does it have a cooldown? Why does it have half of the Kindred symbol on its head? What's its connotation to the lore of Runeterra?

No lore so far. It's stick to an enemy because it doen't have cooldown but the catch is that you can use it again only when it returns and yes it's instant dmg and the actuall dmg is small. This is keystone for supports. So once you have it and cast a spell on an enemy ot allie Aery will go and shield or make extra dmg, stay for some time (you can't use it during this time) and after that return to you for another use.
