Xerath ult kinda feels unsatisfying to use when compared to Jhin.....

Before I get downvoted, hear me out. I know they are similar ults with core differences.

Xerath ult has full range around him while Jhin ult is in a cone shape. Xerath ult does more damage while Jhin ult has a slow.

What bothers me is that Xerath ult does not feel as fun or satisfying to use as Jhin ult. I don't know if it is the style in the animation, the orchestra background music or the sound of bullets landing, but Jhin ult simply is more fun than Xerath's.

I can't pin point exactly what it is, but I feel like Jhin ult is easier to land and the built in slow also helps. It also fun to see that last red bullet come out.

I feel like I always miss 80% of Xeraths ult unless I wait for my team mate to engage and CC the target. While with Jhin, its the opposite. Jhin ult can be used to slow down targets for your team to catch up.

Anyway, am I the only one that feels Xerath ult is a bit unsatisfying when compared to Jhin?

I'm still on the train that Jhin 's ult needs a few nerfs, but I can see where you are coming from. There is some satisfaction to seeing/hearing the bullets hit. I would like to see Xerath with the camera zoom that Jhin gets (except that would make the map so small it would be hard to aim), I feel like that might be one of the more significant differences you're feeling (just my two cents).

Jhin's bullets have a much more visceral feel and sound to them.

Xerath's goes plink plink plink.

Not as satisfying, yeah. But its stronger imo, cant be blocked, has higher range, does more damage most of the time, and so on.

Have you ever played versus both on their team at once? Actual nightmare.

Anyways I personally find Xerath ult more "satisfying" just because it takes more skill to hit. It's more than that though. Xerath ult does have advantages such as can't be blocked, greater range, and does full dmg at full hp (maybe not so much as an advantage since both are most often used to execute)

Raising the ammo to up to 5 was a great move.

Jhin is easier to hit because it's a line. It can hit any target along it's path. That interaction scales into the fun you can have with it, landing shots feels effective with either, but because it's got more chances to land along the line, Jhin will ultimately feel like the more you make, the more you land.

Another bonus: Vision along path. As it moves along it's path, you see around it. This also means more chance to hit the next shots even if you miss.

Not to mention landing a kill with Jhin displays that bloom animation.
