Most games are pointless to play post ten minutes anyway as they are already decided.

Considering what a tilt-inducing stompfest every game turns out to be (I've had two even matches this season so far, out of a sample of almost 150 games) I'm almost inclined to agree.

This is a bronze mentality. You can be absolute garbage in lane, and then come out and dominate team fights. Losing laning does not mean you lost the game

Or maybe I'd like to reserve my energy and good humor for a game I can actually win instead of spending another 10+ minutes getting shat on becuase one or more players on my team is either utterly unskilled, trolling, feeding or has no fucking clue what they are doing.

Who gives a shit about playing a full game? I play to win, winning IS the fun factor, losing is fucking frustrating and waste of time, every seconds I spend in a game that's utterly doomed to failure is a waste of time.

Also, since when is surrendering ragequitting? Do you actually haven anything relevant to add to the discussionn or are you gonna proceed shitting through your mouth?

I think it should get reduced to 15 probably. 10 is a little too soon because that is usually still laning phase. You make it that early and no one will even bother to try after they die say, 2 times. The two other lanes could be doing great but now you have that one guy who will give up and just spam surrender vote whenever possible.

Does everyone actually still believe this? Preseason is over, boys. Games don't last 25 minutes anymore (even though I preferred it). Didn't you get the memo? Games aren't decided by early game anymore. They're decided by how many tanks and how much wave clear you have.

To be fair, I don't give a damn about normals, but once you start playing ranked, you're going to see why early surrender votes are a bad idea. You're going to have people trying to /ff because they aren't having fun. People trying to /ff after a bad team fight. Even trying to /ff because you lost one dragon. Unless you're one of those people, trust me, you don't want that.

I never surrender a ranked game no matter what. I don't care if it's 0-40 and we have no towers. I'm not doing it. You can always come back. Hell, if nothing else, someone on the enemy team could disconnect. Will it happen often? No, but if you surrender, you'll never know if they did, will you? During Season 5, I won around fifteen games total where there was no reason we should have won and my team was spamming surrender votes. For me, that was about 375 lp. Like three divisions worth.

So, my best advice? Toughen up. Be the guy dragging your crying, toxic idiots to victory, rather than the guy crying and getting dragged. I rarely report, but I never let /ff spammers who don't want to play off the hook. There is nothing more toxic than an /ff vote. It has the power to instantly tilt your entire team. If anything, I'd like to see them gone from ranked. You sat down for a potential forty minute game? You knew it could take that long. You have nothing important to do after twenty minutes and neither myself nor anyone else who takes ranked seriously is going to believe you when you say you do.
