Could we at least remove the LP loss from dodging ranked games?
Especially for the lower elos. It would be nice if there was some way to not get stuck in the same tier because I lose 3 or 10 LP for not wanting to risk the loss of 20+ LP in one game due to trolls, people who didnt pay attention, or people who refuse to cooperate in champ select.
I hate to be one of those people who complains about these things, but I actually take this game seriously, and I want to rise through the ranks because of how I play, and I don't want to be limited by people who don't take it seriously. If you dont take it seriously, well, then thats your business, but for those that do, it would be nice to just have some way to avoid those people that will limit you without having the system limit you.
Im not trying to say I'm in elo hell, or anything. I just want to avoid the people that make it seem like elo hell. But when I'm dodging a ranked game, I have to decide: do I want to try and deal with this potential troll? Or do I want to avoid the potential 20+ LP loss, but have the system knock me off a few points because of it? Its like being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
If you dodge two games in a row, you lose 13 LP points, regardless, which is basically another loss. If your in a promotion series, and happen to dodge a game, its counted as a loss towards that series, making it EXTREMELY difficult to rise through tiers. Its as if this system just rewards the trolls, and punishes those who actually want to rank up. With how screwed up this community is, its not unusual to have to dodge 2, 3, maybe even 4 games in a row because you dont want to deal with "OMG!!!!! SO AND SO SUCKS SO BAD!!!! UNINSTALL!!! GO KILL YOURSELF!!!!". You want a real game, with real opponents, real teammates, all of whom actually take this game seriously, and respect their teammates and their opponents to some degree (yeah, I know, that sounds far fetched, even to me).
You might be saying "Its just a game, quit your crying." Yes, it is a game, but some of us are here to actually play it, master it, memorize every little trick in the book, to try and be the best we could possibly be, and not be limited by someone who claims theyre going AP Riven.
