Executioner1 votesTrue, most of the power in the support items, along with stone plate. Jesus the locket shield, even though it only lasts for 2.5 seconds and decays. However it helps block something that is very dangerous. The meta to me is all about utility at the moment.

At least bruisers, who have Cleaver/Trinity, are forced to build pure defensive options to exist.
Morellonomicon has 0 downsides and dictates the entire mid lane meta right now. The item is obviously overloaded and bloated. Negate mana costs, massive AP, 20% CDR, and the free "fuck bruisers" status effect with the cheapest cost ever.

Yup, but she's still not being played to much effect. She can stomp pubs, sure, but she gets shut out very easily and tends to get bopped by ranged champions and decently-coordinated teams with at least a little bit of hard CC.
Akali has been in an awkward spot for a while since she tears through people, given the lead to get at least half an item ahead of her opponent. She also has a knack for easily becoming one of the most useless champions in the game when behind, provided your team has ANY hard CC to throw at her.
