Tiamat attack reset, and overall the itemization works better for him building physical damage.

I agree, Tiamat is great if you're playing him AD. But why play AD over AP?

Why do you play Shaco AP?

He has much better scaling with item actives/passives (because BOTH full AD and AP suck now).

That's why he's being played as a bruiser now, with an emphasis on high AD early, in high MMR.

Hell, AP wasn't that great before either, even if AD was worse.

That's why he had item 3146 item 3100 item 3031 item 3089 item 1414 as items, as opposed to straight AP.

you can look at my late game builds on my match history. But I say "AP" because my only AD item i build is IE late game and if the game goes over 40min and i can afford to sell protobelt, gunblade is better for 1 shots.

Also keep in mind, I top lane shaco. So i get to build zhonyas in addition to the build you have above.(minus jungle item)

You'll generally want Luden's either way.

The proc damage is really important, and generally better replaced with Protobelt as opposed to Zhonya's.

I disagree, because I don't need the proc damage. Shaco has enough natural damage with his whole entire kit (added that he now has execute damage from shiv)

Ludens is useless imo on shaco.

Reason i get zhonyas is because i wont be punished for playing a squishy build and Qing into a team of 5 people. I can use zhonyas as a buffer inbetween the cooldown of my Q and just q back out as soon as zhonyas drops off me.

Because his clone used to deal quite a bit of damage as AD/AS on-hit. AP Shaco was never really good until Rito changed his kit (Q never scaled with AP).

I understand, I've played this game since beta. But knowing that his Q scales off ap thats 4 things that scale of AP in his kit now. ( and really well, i should add.)
