@Riot What exactly are the Veigar changes being tested going to do to help him?

W falls a quarter of a second faster. I'll leave it at that.

As for Q granting AP on assist, let me go back about ~7 months ago, around the time where he was initially changed. He got changed because of his instant stun being abusable in the bot lane as a support, most notably in Korea and because of Lemonation. This change will just make support Veigar picked more often, but isn't this what you guys DON'T want him to do?

Regardless the changes ARE helpful but just a little weird to me. His W cast time is .25 seconds and making it start on cast reduces it by .25 seconds. As for the ap for assists, for mid lane, I'm not sure how it will work. Depending on how much AP he gets from an assist, it'll increase by at LEAST ~30 AP per game.

But, are these the changes going through or are they just some things being tested?

so it's what, 1/5 faster?

what exactly does making it cast at the same time he's stopping to do an animation accomplish, short of making it "faster" without actually making it faster?

The W casting time reduction is because he has a hard time W'ing stunned people at early ranks, every little thing is enough. I'd like to point out that the delay on E is .75, he got a mechanic improvement of 1/3 of the mechanic nerf he had at the beginning of the season.
