I feel like Deathfire Touch could be better by providing better visual damage infomation to players

I'm never really sure how effective this keystone is. Its early game damage is negligible and most games never reach late game where it is effective. Most game end in 35 minutes. Compared to thunderlords, you're never sure how much damage it does.

Would it be better if Deathfire touch acted like Zeds ult? What I mean is when a target is hit by a spell, they are marked by deathfire touch. After 3 seconds, the mark pops for some damage based on a percentage of damage taken during the mark.

This will give players a clear objective in using the keystone and provide clear feedback in how much damage the keystone does. It would still have no internal cooldown so any spell damage after the first 3 seconds pop will simply reset the mark for another 3 second pop. Since we are losing the damage over time aspect for a delayed damage pop, deathfire touch can gain higher ap and ad ratio scalings. I say this because the delayed damage pop adds more counter play to it.

The whole point of DFT is for using it for constant poke. Putting the timer lock and resetting it on abilities would make it awful.
