talking about voice and quotes Recently with jhin i realised that 90% of champions in league have a horrible VO

i went to check everyone, and if i were to judge the quality of the VO champions that are on jhin's level are (who received a VO rework) (dunkmaster) (tell me if i'm missing some)

Honestly i would like Riot to focus more on VO as much as they focus on balance/design because it PLAYS A ROLE IN THE SATISFACTION OF THE GAME, when you play jhin no joke his quotes gives you as much fun as the gameplay, because when you enjoy a theme you want to hear the champion talking about it ( and death for instance) The fuck is this VO seriously? ??? example of a wasted potential, her voice resonating to mimick telepathy is amazing, but why are her quotes so simple and empty? "delicatly" "a symphony of justice"

Yep, we should create a class of VO that is named "VO is here just because don't give a fuck" like sona's simple quotes or shen

I would actually more prefer things like in Dota where the vo is just a bunch of fucking puns.

I love Jhin's and Taliyah's.

Taliyah's because, oh m g, so cute, I wanna hug her and cuddle her and aaaaaaah. Her vo, god bless her beautiful voice, makes her even more adorable

You do know the ones that you used as "examples" are rather old champions? They of course have much more basic and simply VO scripts rather than some of the newer champions.

Imagine if they updated TahmKench to have more dialogue for new champions whenever they come out. I would pay for that shit.

I think they need to step back a bit. New champions never stop talking, and tend to repeat the same two or three lines repeatedly in lane which starts to grate very quickly.

A lot of older champions could use a look for sure. Some of them are lacking in personality compared to the champions that have been released in the last few years. I would love to see more interractions between champions that dislike / rival each other when they get a kill on each other. Also unique pentakill (quadra for Jhin) quotes, just gives the champions some new things to say. Basically stuff similar to Dota overall.

actually dota doesn't have quotes for rampages (pentakill) But yeah some quotes are so well done (ie:rubick) and there are a lot of them some get deleted for copy right

Been a while since I've played any Dota so I couldn't recall if they had any multikill lines, but I always enjoyed the trash talk some of them threw out toward heroes they hated. It just gave them some extra life and interesting little incentives to kill those specific enemies if you enjoyed it.
