Time to quit jungling.

Its not that I think he's overpowered or anything, just really un fun in solo queue. He sits around in my jungle taking EVERYTHING and if I go anywhere near him he pretty much has 6 abilities by level 3, and 2x the damage of any other jungler. My teammates rarely actually come to help and when they do they either die to him or he escapes with his dash, flash, kick, or his ult if he's 6.

That's why Lee is complained about all the time even though he has 45% win rate. You get your ass whooped for the first 20 minutes, then still end up winning because the Lee doesn't know what to do with his lead. You get your LP, but it doesn't feel good bc you didnt win by kicking ass, you win by not getting your ass kicked hard enough, and that's not a rewarding feel.

Not to mention facing the same damn champs every freakin game is just plain boring

It's Lee sin and thresh support

I hate Lee Sin, not because of the counter jungling but because of how useless he gets late game.

Lee is not that great of a jungler. There's a reason he has a 45% win rate

Lee is a great jungler. He has great clear times and he can pressure games very early.

The reason his win rate is low is because so many scrubs who have no idea how to play him keep trying him out.

That's what makes fighting them so fun. I see an enemy Lee Sin, it's freelo.

Lee SIn clear isn't the best. He's only good early game.

And that can be said about any champion ...

Elise is great, it's just that so many scrubs who have no idea how to play her keep trying her out especially due to her changes recently

Lugg1 votes

Lee is great all game due to his utility alone.

There are plenty of champions who are weak early.

Elise isn't great, she just isn't as bad as she used to be.

Left Hook Larry1 votes

The only real big utility skill he has is his kick. His W is not that great in terms of shielding an ally. It's only good for ward jumping and his E is a small slow. Lee Sin is forced to build tanky, but there are champions that are better tanks than him with better utility and that are much easier to play.

Lee Sin is only really great early and that's if you know how to play him well.

  1. You've never played him in ranked, which means you probably played him a normals and probably did terrible there too.
  1. That logic makes no sense.

"If you do not play Thresh in ranked, then that means you played him in normals and sucked there as well. Double edged statements are foolish, and can be applied against you easily.

  1. Kha Zix has a better jungle clear than Lee Sin, especially after he gets his items.

Mid game clear speed is almost meaningless due to the existence of trailblazer. It's like bringing up Warwick's clear speed 20 minutes after the game. What matters

  1. You attacked me by saying "you're not a very good lee sin"
  1. "I clear the jungle better with Kha Zix than I do with Lee Sin. That's saying a lot. "

I attacked you because it is a fact that Lee Sin clears the jungle more easily than Kha'Zix. After getting your items is meaningless, no jungler has issues clearing the jungle after they get their items. I attacked you because your statement was ignorant, and clearly hyperbole.

so I replied asking to see you Jungle him.

Which doesn't change the fact that your statement was false. Clearly you acknowledge this when you go on to say "well he clears better after he has items." Your challenge was nothing but bait.

The fact is that you don't play him and probably haven't played more than 5 games with him this season even in normals. You don't know how well he clears and you get your information based off of facing Lee Sins.

You don't know...anything about how I play. You are literally making inferences because despite how desperately you lolking, you can't find anything so you go for the worst case scenario to support yourself. It's not cute, its sad.

Like I said, there's a reason Lee Sin has a really low win rate. Most high elo people don't even consider him to be a tier 2 jungler in solo que right now. Most would say he's tier 3. Gragas can do almost every Lee Sin can and is much safer.

Again...winrates. Okay...let's look at Diamond +.

Lee Sin= 48.4% Gragas= 48.5% Sejuani =49.8% Rek'sai =51.7% Evelynn = 51.2%

If we go based off of the winrates like you do, one would need to argue the idea that Gragas himself is the same tier as Lee Sin.

In order for Lee Sin to be considered a GOOD jungle pick the person has to be really good with him.

Which is what we must ALWAYS consider PERIOD. Whenever you evaluate a character you always assume that the person playing Lee Sin is good. We don't assume the person is bead because it leads to a terribly inaccurate view of the champion.

This goes for...any game out there period. SF4. MTG. Yu-Gi-oH LOL

No one ever says "well this champ is good if you really know how to use them.", they'd be laughed at by the community.

The only real big utility skill he has is his kick. His W is not that great in terms of shielding an ally. It's only good for ward jumping and his E is a small slow.

W is very under rated, you don't do it for the sheld, you do it for positioning which is incredibly important for team fighting. It allows you to set up a kick without worrying about a body blocked Q, and lets you use that same Q to escape into the jungle if needed.

Lee Sin is forced to build tanky, but there are champions that are better tanks than him with better utility and that are much easier to play.

Every jungler is forced to build tanky. There is no champion in the game who is innately tanky without building items for it, even maokai is squishy if he doesn't build for it. What is good about Lee Sin is that he has high damage even when building bruiser which most champions cannot build. What you are failing to understand isn't that Lee Sin is bad. He is still one of the good junglers out there right now. The issue is that early game ganking isn't as important, which is one of his forte's. Team comps look more for initiation and tankiness, both of which result from cinderhulks introduction and the transition of junglers to a more support type role.

Lee sin can do it, but he isn't specialized in it, meanwhile gragas and Sejuani both are and so they see more popularity and success around those team comps. Lee sin's popularity and win rate drop isn't due to him not being good, its due to itemization changes and jungle changes.

  1. My point was that you're obviously not even comfortable to play him in ranked and normals aren't the same. Just because you played him before doesn't mean you knew what you were doing and I doubt you really ever played him before

  2. My statement: Kha Zix has a better jungle clear than Lee Sin, especially after he gets his items.

Notice I said "especially." Meaning Kha has a better clear than Lee Sin early, but it gets much better after he gets items while Lee Sin's doesn't improve as much as Kha does.

  1. Refer to point 2 because you clearly misunderstood

  2. Again, refer to point 2 because your clearly misunderstood. Kha has better clear times early that massively improve throughout the game. Lee Sin's clear does improve, but not even close to as Kha's do.

  3. I can make a pretty good guess about how you played based on your rank and match history. Your rank says a lot. Clearly you don't play Lee Sin and I doubt you even know his basics, yet you're here arguing about him being OP

  4. What I meant by that was Lee Sin players have to be highly skilled and really good players for Lee Sin to even be considered a good pick. A good champion/pick doesn't mean OP. If a champion needs this amount of skill just to be considered "good," then there's no way he's OP

  5. Fair point, but I wouldn't consider it to be a game changing skill. Many champions have some form of dashes. Lee Sin requires you to constantly have a ward, or an ally near you to use it for positioning

  6. You're not understanding what I'm saying. What I was trying to say was if Lee Sin builds damage, he will get blown up extremely fast, which is why he's FORCED to be built as a tank and his kit isn't that good for a tank, which is why he isn't that great right now. Lee Sin has high damage... EARLY. And it's not even that high. Champions like Vi, Rek Sai, J4, etc all deal a lot of damage early too. Lee Sin isn't a tank champion, but he's forced to build tank if he wants to stay useful at all and there are just much better champions out there who have a decent early game and are just better tanks than Lee Sin. In order to do good with Lee Sin late game you have to know how to use his kick very well.

  1. My point is that you are being ignorant, and your attempt to attack me is poor when you make hyperbole based statements such as Kha being abetter farmer than lee sin... after items! You were attacked on what you said, you attack me based on nothing. Congrats.
  1. My statement: Kha Zix has a better jungle clear than Lee Sin, especially after he gets his items. Notice I said "especially." Meaning Kha has a better clear than Lee Sin early, but it gets much better after he gets items while Lee Sin's doesn't improve as much as Kha does.
  1. Kha'zix clear in early game is not significantly faster than Lee Sin, even after items due to the following factors.

Lower camp spawn rate Trailblazer smite

These two factors alone means that Kha'zix being a faster farmer, with items becomes a very minor factor and hardly a demerit against Lee Sin. Farm speed is only an issue for a few junglers, such as Warwick, and even that is remedied partially by trailblazer. It is hardly a factor in regards to why Lee Sin sees less success and play.

Your insistence on arguing the matter is silly, as you entirely missed the point of what I said to you.

  1. Refer to point 2 because you clearly misunderstood.

Read above

  1. Again, refer to point 2 because your clearly misunderstood. Kha has better clear times early that massively improve throughout the game. Lee Sin's clear does improve, but not even close to as Kha's do.

Trailblazer's smite + E, your camp is cleared as Lee Sin. If it isnt, a Q will kil it. Clear speed was never a factor, even in S4 where Kha'zix had a clear advantage in terms of clear speed.

  1. I can make a pretty good guess about how you played based on your rank and match history. Your rank says a lot. Clearly you don't play Lee Sin and I doubt you even know his basics, yet you're here arguing about him being OP

CTRL+F, Lee sin is OP not found. You made a large assumption based on what other people stated, I merely stated Lee Sin is still a great jungler.

Second, you really can't, because just like yourself, I make alternate accounts.

  1. What I meant by that was Lee Sin players have to be highly skilled and really good players for Lee Sin to even be considered a good pick. A good champion/pick doesn't mean OP. If a champion needs this amount of skill just to be considered "good," then there's no way he's OP

Bad logic, if a Chamion is good when handled by a skilled player, then they are a good champion period. If a champion is bad even when handled by a good player, then it is a bad champion. For example, Olaf, and Gangplank. Bad champions, a good player cannot fix it since it is a result of their kit. Skill is NEVER a factor in the discussion.

  1. Fair point, but I wouldn't consider it to be a game changing skill. Many champions have some form of dashes. Lee Sin requires you to constantly have a ward, or an ally near you to use it for positioning.

Lee Sin will always have a ward and builds sightstone as part of his build. If he doesn't have a ward then wtf hapened?

  1. You're not understanding what I'm saying. What I was trying to say was if Lee Sin builds damage, he will get blown up extremely fast, which is why he's FORCED to be built as a tank and his kit isn't that good for a tank, which is why he isn't that great right now. In order to do good with Lee Sin late game you have to know how to use his kick very well.

To be fair, there are many champions forced to build tank to be tanky. Let alone if you look at Lee sin vs Vi, jarvan and Reksai, he deals large early game damage, and while both VI and Jarvan have superior shields, they don't have tankier kits. They removed Jarvan's free armor.

  1. LOOL you think I got that shit out of my ass? It was YOU who said "I've played him before, but don't like him." I was pointing out how you probably had no idea how to play him considering you only played one or two matches with him in normals. You were attacked on what you said.

  2. I said Kha has a better early game clear time. A clear isn't always based on the speed. Early game I look at it who has more health after they finish their clear. Lee Sin and Kha are very close early game in terms of speed in clearing, but the sad thing is that Kha is known for his bad time in the new jungle. This is where my point 1 comes in. You clearly don't play him and haven't played him much. You think that Lee Sin's clear is amazing but in reality it's not even better than Kha's.

  3. ..

  4. Why would someone build trailblazer on Lee Sin? The chilling smite is much better for ganking and the red smite is much better for dueling. Rarely do people build trailblazer on him. Even on Kha Zix you see people building chilling smite or red smite. Yes there are people who build trailblazer, but most don't.

"Trailblazer's smite + E, your camp is cleared as Lee Sin" Do you think that junglers are going to use smite for every single camp? This method would only work for raptors. As a jungler you should have your smite up every time dragon is about to spawn, or you're planning on doing it. You can't just go around smiting every camp. I don't think you jungle much based on these points.

  1. Lee Sin is not a GREAT jungler either right now. Maybe when the Meta favored him he was. But now the meta is against him and if you combine that with his high skill cap you get an extremely low win rate..

And your account has 400+ games played of normals and ranked on it. That's clearly enough to tell me how you play. And I doubt you would play that many games on an account that ISN'T your main.

  1. You do realize that there are many people out there who are good with these champions right? There are people who have high win rates with olaf, gangplank, etc. and can make the champion good. Just because a there are people who can make the champion work doesn't mean that champion is good. If we were to use your logic, then Olaf and Gangplank would be considered great champions because in the hands of GOOD people they are GOOD champions. You just went behind your own logic.

  2. Lee Sin won't ALWAYS have a ward. There can be many instances where he doesn't. Maybe he used most of his sightstone wards to ward up the enemy jungle? Maybe he didn't finish his sightstone?

Lee Sin requires you to invest in a sightstone to fully utilize his W, which also makes him a bit weaker to other junglers.

  1. Vi is a perfect example of a jungler that is more useful than Lee. She's really strong early game, has a dash that doesn't require a ward or an ally to be near you, and has a point and click CC ult. Why would anyone play Lee over Vi? The only reason would be if they are confident that they can utilize their kick very well, which most people cannot do.

"I've played him before, but do not like him." Has nothing to do with how good or bad a person may or may not be with him. That's like stating C9 Meteos is bad at Elise because he does not like the way she is right now. I prefer the assassin play style types of Kha'zix, Evelynn, and bruisers such as Vi. You are making an attack because you're mad, not because you have anything to base it off of, try again.

  1. I said Kha has a better early game clear time.

The difference between the two is very, very minimal.

A clear isn't always based on the speed.

This contradicts the previous statement. If you are not basing it on time, why are you making statements based on clear time?

Early game I look at it who has more health after they finish their clear. Lee Sin and Kha are very close early game in terms of speed in clearing, but the sad thing is that Kha is known for his bad time in the new jungle. This is where my point 1 comes in. You clearly don't play him and haven't played him much. You think that Lee Sin's clear is amazing but in reality it's not even better than Kha's.

Your point "Kha clears the jungle faster than Lee Sin." How does this at all come in when you've never acknowledged Kha's issues in early game clearing? Let alone when you're making statements about clearing speed not being everything?

Your argument is all over the place, you acknowledge Kha has a hard time and that Lee Sin has an easier time, and you acknowledge the clear speeds are minimal in difference. Where does your point come in at all?

  1. ..

Missed a dot.

The same reason people pick trialblazer on evelynn even though she has almost no CC. You pick it up so you can clear the jungle more quickly and easily. Unlike evelynn, Lee Sin has 2 forms of CC, and has the methods to apply them very easily. Trailblzer can also provide survivability in the jungle, aoe clear for lanes, and is overall very useful.

You get 2 smites. 15s cooldown between both. How do you not have a smite for dragon/baron? You're so desperate to try and attack me your arguments are becoming worse and worse.

  1. Lee Sin is not a GREAT jungler either right now. Maybe when the Meta favored him he was. But now the meta is against him and if you combine that with his high skill cap you get an extremely low win rate..

This is part of why winrates are ignored, we don't consider the skillcap EVER. We only look at the best players and Lee Sin sports a winrate only .1% lower than Gragas at the upper elos.

And your account has 400+ games played of normals and ranked on it. That's clearly enough to tell me how you play. And I doubt you would play that many games on an account that ISN'T your main.

The account as existed in August of last year. This is roughly 11 months and only 30 days short of a year. THat is a very small amount of games, averaging to about 1.5 games a day.

Cease the attacks against me, its not working in your favor when I know myself better than you do.

My logic: "The best player cannot make the worst champion good, champions are bad due to their kits. We do not consider skill at all."

Are you dyslexic to believe that suggests a good player makes a champion good? Skill level is ignored period when it comes to discussing champ.

  1. Lee Sin won't ALWAYS have a ward. There can be many instances where he doesn't. Maybe he used most of his sightstone wards to ward up the enemy jungle? Maybe he didn't finish his sightstone?

Or he can use the free one he has in his inventory.

Lee Sin requires you to invest in a sightstone to fully utilize his W, which also makes him a bit weaker to other junglers.

Spending 800 gold for a sightstone does not make him weaker than other junglers. Especially when early ganking is not as important so the 800 gold investment is good. It also makes counter jungling a lot safer. It would have been more harmful in s4, where early ganking and early damage was more desired.

Your last sentence invalidates the rest.

Yeah, it says you're not very good at Lee Sin. You should have absolutely no issues clearing the jungle precisely due to Lee Sin's lifesteal/spellvamp + passive. Lee Sin can be a bully top lane because firs toff.

He is energy reliant not mana reliant so you don't need to worry about being outlasted. He has some sustain to aid him in staying within lane. He has incredible CC, burst, and mobility.

Hrmm, a champ with better base damage and AD scaling than pantheon. Mobility through 2 of his moves. 2 forms of CC. Lifesteal and spell vamp.

Is not a greater jungler.

Winrate tards need to stop.

Pantheon's E almost has better AD scaling than any two of Lee Sin's abilities, actually.

Pantheon's Q is also on a much lower cooldown than Lee Sin's Q early game, more than making up for its relative lack of damage to Lee Sin's full Q combo (and Lee Sin has to do the full Q combo to do more damage by the way).

There's less room to outplay a good Pantheon gank because he has a point and click stun gap closer.

Mobility through two of his moves you say? The same is true of Pantheon. One of those moves happens to be virtually global, giving Pantheon far better map presence.

CC on two moves? Pantheon is similar, though his ult's CC isn't practical. Unlike Lee however, Pantheon has hard CC on one of his basic abilities.

Both also have executes, but Pantheon's is basically undodgable, nor does it potentially put him at risk like Lee's.

Lee does indeed have better sustain.

Also, for everyone saying "Oh, Lee just has a bad win rate because a lot of people suck with him", even players with over 125 games with Lee Sin just barely break an average win rate of 50%. Compare to Azir, another high skillcap champion with a rather low win rate, who has a win rate of over 55% when used by similarly-experienced players.

Lee's not all that great right now.

Pantheon's E almost has better AD scaling than any two of Lee sins abilities. That logic makes no sense!

that I'd a logical fallacy. pantheon is a stronger ssassin because 1 ability has a higher ad scaling than any two Lee sin abilities.

we go based on the entire assassin rotation in which case, Lee sin competes with the likes of talon and is superior.

furthermore, pantheon is strong early but falls off hard later in the game where as Lee sin only falls off based on the build he possesses and not due to a lack of scaling like pantheon.

in terms of cc, Lee sins ult is a stun. It is coded that way so you cannot flash during the knock back like you can with aliatar. Try it.

Wingate are a poor metric and are not considered anyway.

he has lost some wins because cinder hulk raised the number of champs for jungling and the jungle changes affect him.negatively.

he is still a very good jungler, the meta.merely does not make him as powerful as he used to be.

Point out what logical fallacy it is.

Pantheon's Q>E (not counting his other abilities that have AP scaling mind you) have a total AD scaling of 500%. Lee Sin's full combo has a total AD scaling of 480%.

Pantheon has better scaling abilities than Lee Sin. There's more to scaling well with numbers. Lee Sin can't take full advantage of his high AD scaling because he just gets blown up if he doesn't build some amount of tankiness. Hence why Talon, despite having lower AD scaling than both, is a better assassin. He can build much more damage and perform effectively.

All knockbacks are considered stuns.

A champion's purpose is to win the game. If the more skilled players can't win with him, what makes him good?

Right, which is why he's not in a very good spot right now.

the fact you stated Pantheon's E is stronger than any 2 of Lee sins and use it as reasoning for pantheon being a better assassin.

Pantheon's Q>E (not counting his other abilities that have AP scaling mind you) have a total AD scaling of 500%. Lee Sin's full combo has a total AD scaling of 480%.

Congrats that is a difference of 20% and completely ignored the base damage difference of 900 damag and percent health damage from Lee sins q entirely.

So talon, a squishy assassin with no tank in essence is a better assassin than Lee si, who has higher ad base and scaling, who also has life steal and spell.vamp.

Pardon? Where is talon's tank in essence that exempts him? You cannot say that Lee sin is a bad assassin due to.lacking a form.of tankiness, then claim talon is better at it when he has no sustain or tankiness at all.

All knockbacks are considered stuns.

This.ia false, several knock backs are not stuns and do not function as hard cc.

this is a terrible strawman. When we discuss.purpose and roles we discuss what they are designed to do. Lee sin.is a jungler/top lane due to his tools.

Do.not attempt to change the subject of my statement thanks.

Right, which is why he's not in a very good spot right now.

Bad logic. This champion is not preferred therefore he is bad. Lee sin functions perfectly well and has seen successful play in s5 pro season.

the fact you stated Pantheon's E is stronger than any 2 of Lee sins and use it as reasoning for pantheon being a better assassin.

Oh no, I mean name the logical fallacy I used. Can you?

Also, that's a straw man fallacy. At no point did I claim either was a better assassin than the other. I claimed Talon was a better assassin than both (he is), that's it. I was merely bringing up the assertion that Lee Sin has better AD scaling than Pantheon is a lie. And it is a lie. You lied.

Congrats that is a difference of 20% and completely ignored the base damage difference of 900 damag and percent health damage from Lee sins q entirely.

Thank you, I did indeed disprove your assertion that Lee Sin has better AD scaling.

Actually, with his ult Pantheon has higher base damage as well, but his ult is harder to use in a fight. I never denied that Lee Sin had better base damages sans Panth's ult though. I merely disproved the assertions of yours that were wrong while bringing up Pantheon's advantages over Lee Sin.

So talon, a squishy assassin with no tank in essence is a better assassin than Lee si, who has higher ad base and scaling, who also has life steal and spell.vamp.

Yep, because he can build full damage while still being effective and unlike Lee Sin, his assassination ability can't be body blocked by the enemy team's tank. It's point and click. He also happens to be able to put out his damage in a far shorter time frame than Lee Sin can. Lee can't as reliably kill an ADC in such a short time frame as Talon can, assuming both have equal gold.

Why do you only list Lee Sin's strengths without listing those of the people you compare him to?

Pardon? Where is talon's tank in essence that exempts him? You cannot say that Lee sin is a bad assassin due to.lacking a form.of tankiness, then claim talon is better at it when he has no sustain or tankiness at all.

Talon puts out his damage much faster (this is the biggest reason he's a better assassin) and can use his ult to finish off a target and escape. Even though pink wards counter it, Solo Q isn't so coordinated. Hence why Talon tends to dominate Solo Q. Professional play less so, but then how often is Lee Sin seen there these days?

Also, even when Lee Sin was strong he wasn't used as an assassin in the same sense Zed was. Even then he was built with some amount of tankiness.

This.ia false, several knock backs are not stuns and do not function as hard cc.

Since Cinderhulk was introduced? Not really, not as far as I've seen.

Lee Sin doesn't do well in a meta that revolves around tanky CC monsters locking down teams in team fights, because he's not that great in team fights. Hence why he's sort of meh right now. The worst jungler or champion in the game? No. A bit underwhelming? Sort of, yeah. He's not as strong as he once was.

A lie is a when an individual makes a statement knowing that it is untrue. I made an error of 20%. Of course, when you consider that Pantheon's base damage is roughly 900+ lower, one can understand where the issue occurred.

We do not consider Pantheon's ult because it is based on the proximity of the target to the epicenter. Which NEVER happens due tot he behavior of the ability. Being realistic and honest about their damage is important. Unless Pantheon lands with the very center, he still deals less damage than Lee Sin because he never builds AP.

Lee Sin's damage and combo is far more effective because it cannot be interrupted. Once hit yby his Q, it will continue unless he is killed/stunned past the duration. His CC is more effective, and can displace a target away from a turret. In terms of ganking potential he is more lethal and makes stronger team fighting compared to Pantheon who saw lss play and less success in comparison.

The only advantage is Talon being impossible to body block, but unlike Lee SIn once Talon is in he has NO method of getting out and NO method of making the target stay.

Lee Sin W's in, QERQ slightly slower than Talon and due to the behavior of his Q and R interaction, can use it to more easily return to his team. Talon's only advantage is ignoring body block and that advantage is minimal at best.

Why do you only list Lee Sin's strengths without listing those of the people you compare him to?

The listing of his strength was solely towards the assertion that he was a weak jungler. Why do you ask unncecessary questions?

Talon puts out his damage much faster (this is the biggest reason he's a better assassin) and can use his ult to finish off a target and escape. Even though pink wards counter it, Solo Q isn't so coordinated. Hence why Talon tends to dominate Solo Q. Professional play less so, but then how often is Lee Sin seen there these days?

That is a poor argument "Talon is good because solo Q functions differently from professional play." So what? If we are going to evaluate a champion we should always look at the highest play possble otherwise, you are skewing the analysis. Lee Sin doesn't see as much play in professional play because there is now a larger variety of junglers who can tailor to specific needs. Lee Sin was used because he could do almost everything with few drawbacks attached. Now you have champs such as Gragas, Sejuani, Reksai, who may not have the same number of tools, but are stronger in other areas. Lee Sin still sees professional usage. He has not disappeared.

Also, even when Lee Sin was strong he wasn't used as an assassin in the same sense Zed was. Even then he was built with some amount of tankiness.

Correct, because the niche for an assassin was already filled. You can build Lee Sin as an assassin, but you don't need to with his tool set. You can go bruiser and have high base damage that makes you dish out respectable damage while still providing team fighting ability without dying in a few seconds. Seriously, Lee Sin is extremely flexible. It is why he was so good.

I made an error of 20%. Of course, when you consider that Pantheon's base damage is roughly 900+ lower, one can understand where the issue occurred.

Thank you for dropping the "logical fallacy" shit. Don't claim someone is using one if you can't name it.

A lie can also be defined as "b : an untrue or inaccurate statement that may or may not be believed true by the speaker".

I can not claim to know what your intent was, but I can claim to know the statement you made is false.

Even assuming Pantheon's ult did the very bare minimum damage with his ult (500, compared to 1,000), his full combo would have base damage of 1,193.

Lee Sin's full combo has a base damage of 1,140.

As we've discussed, Pantheon's full combo also has better AD scalings.

So like, if Pantheon's ult hits at all and he gets his full combo off, he is in fact doing more damage than Lee Sin, the Blind Monk.

I don't know why you went on that tirade though. I already said that Pantheon's ult is unreliable, but mostly in the sense that it doesn't hit enemies as easily as Lee Sin's though. It does give him better map presence though, and that's just good for him.

Lee Sin's damage and combo is far more effective because it cannot be interrupted. Once hit yby his Q, it will continue unless he is killed/stunned past the duration.

Lissandra presses W, Lee Sin's combo is now interrupted.

Alistar presses W, Lee Sin's combo is now interrupted.

Vayne presses E, Lee Sin's combo is now interrupted.

Lee Sin's combo can certainly be interrupted. His second Q doesn't make him immune to CC.

Is it interrupted as easily as Pantheon's E? Probably not, but I never denied that Lee scaled better than Pantheon. Just about everyone does.

His CC is more effective, and can displace a target away from a turret.

Displace away from a turret yes. It's a shame his only hard CC is on his ult. Pantheon gets a point and click stun on his W. Do you really not see the advantage in that?

In terms of ganking potential he is more lethal and makes stronger team fighting compared to Pantheon who saw lss play and less success in comparison.

Stronger in team fights? Probably.

More lethal ganking? How is that? Pre six, can Q, W, E, then Q again for an execute. None of this can be dodged, it's more damage than Lee Sin's gank, and is unavoidable if Pantheon gets in range to do it. Hard CC is pretty great for pre-six ganking. Lee Sin's only advantage above Pantheon when ganking pre level six is his kit allows for more playmaking (mostly in the form of where he can gank from). Post six Lee gets some great CC for ganks that can secure kills, but Pantheon suddenly has far more global ganking presence with his ult.

Less play and success? When Lee was king of the jungle absolutely. Those times are gone. He's not used that often either.

The only advantage is Talon being impossible to body block, but unlike Lee SIn once Talon is in he has NO method of getting out and NO method of making the target stay.

The difference is Talon can actually assassinate his opponent better.

Lee Sin W's in, QERQ slightly slower than Talon and due to the behavior of his Q and R interaction, can use it to more easily return to his team. Talon's only advantage is ignoring body block and that advantage is minimal at best.

Only Lee Sin would need either a ward (which he would either have to place himself, and considering your scenario involves him not even having to use his second Q to get to his target, he would have to be almost on top of the enemy team to accomplish this, or would have to already be there, which is pure luck), or another team mate (the more advantageous option, but one that relies on this other team mate being able to provide counter peel against the enemy team when they lock Lee Sin down) to perform that combo, and it relies on what he W's to being on the opposite side of the enemy ADC relative to his team to work, otherwise he will still be cut off from his team.

Talon just needs to press a few buttons, and will probably do more damage, because I totally forgot that his E (and his passive, to a lesser extent I guess) actually amplifies his damage against the target. Oh, and Talon builds more damage items than Lee Sin. That part is important too. It's why Talon deals more damage.

Oh, and you're insane if you think Lee Sin's best engage tool being body blocked by one of the tanks on the enemy team isn't a huge disadvantage.

The listing of his strength was solely towards the assertion that he was a weak jungler. Why do you ask unncecessary questions?

If you list only strengths, without acknowledging weaknesses, then anyone looks strong.

That is a poor argument "Talon is good because solo Q functions differently from professional play." So what? If we are going to evaluate a champion we should always look at the highest play possble otherwise, you are skewing the analysis.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize the OP, who made this thread because he doesn't want to face Lee Sin, was an LCS player who was talking about quitting jungling in the LCS because Lee Sin is suddenly being used in the LCS again.

Only that is all bullshit. This thread is about Solo Q. If you don't want to acknowledge Solo Q in a thread about it, get out.

He doesn't see as much professional use because he isn't nearly as good as he used to be.

When has he been seen since Cinderhulk dropped? I've seen a fucking Shaco since then (I think, I might be wrong about when the UOL game with Shaco occurred), but no Lee Sin.

"Was so good". You're starting to get it.

And sure, you could build Lee Sin as an assassin. But he wasn't as good as the assassins people actually played.

This is why wikia's are not reliable sources of information. Not all knockbacks are coded the same just as Runeglaive is not the same as Lichbane/IBG/TF

Okay, go ahead and provide the source that Alistar's does not provide a brief stun.

You misrepresented the argument regarding the roles a champion is capable of fulfilling in favor of suggesting the role was that of winning. I appeciate the desire to provide the definition of a strawman but I am quite sure of the argument I was making regarding a champions "role", were you?

lol

No, I didn't.

Winning is not a role, it's a goal. I don't give a shit what roles Lee Sin can fill. If he can't reliably win games anymore (or at all, even for those with a lot of experience with him), then he's certainly not a great champion.

Champion design=/= goal of the game. The two are different and clearly, we re evaluating Lee SIn's role as a champion and not the end game goal.

No, that's what you're doing. I never cared about what Lee Sin's role was.

You did, don't lie.

Season 5 saw a decrease in popularity for Lee Sin. Cinderhulk was introduced and it dropped even further.

Nope, a champion with mostly single target damage, a reliance on auto attacks, and minimal teamfight CC is indeed not that good at team fights. As bad at them as Tryndamere? No, of course not. But very mediocre.

He's fairly underwhelming these days. With the amount of tanks walking around the rift he can't snowball as effectively, and he isn't nearly as good in team fights as the Amumu on the enemy team.

as someone else replied about pantheon's damage, i'll provide the figures.

pantheon's E has 156 + 360% AD in an AOE over like 1.2 seconds at max rank or 39 + 360% AD at first rank

that's a ridiculous amount even early game

say pantheon somehow only has 50 AD, that comes to 219 damage before reductions on one ability. He also has a stun and point and click nuke

pantheon isn't op, but a skilled one sure is annoying to play against

Does that magically make him fun to play against?
