In what kind of world does the Balance Team think that Syndra is "balanced"
?? I mean, seriously.. shes beyond broke right now
?? I mean, seriously.. shes beyond broke right now
So she has no money? (YES I'M AN EVIL GRAMMAR NAZI MWHAHAHA)
The good thing is that meddler said with the extra time they'll look for a better nerf
because that ulti nerf would have done nothing lmfao
They don't?
The nerf is being hold off to observe the impact of Rylai nerf on mages.
They are definitely aware of the issue, but they used to go with "nerf item, nerf champion, completely gut a champ" cycle, I'm actually glad they are changing the way of doing things.
yea only when its a mage involved. god forbid it was an ad item and a champ that was broken both would have been gutted in the first hour.
dont need to bullshit with that haha

I don't know why you have a such weird bias like that... It's not like Riot can profit from making these decisions.
Except the rioters on the balance team can decide who to nerf island whoto be"patient on"

I have been following balancing since S3, I have not noticed any malicious bias in balancing.
I don't why you insist to think that Riot intentionally hold of Syndra because she's a Mage.
Riot has made many many mistakes in balancing in the past. Syndra is in a bad shape because of lack of counter play to ult stacking, not raw power. Riot agrees it's a problem, and trying to find a way to fix it. Balancing doesn't happen overnight.
You have plenty of other things to shit on Riot, just don't waste your time on these nonsenses.
in the same world where a guy names themselves after a shitty old basketball player
is that the same world where someone tries to be a memer and fails horribly?

wait they said zed has a too good laning phase? his laning phase is decent that's all
... ok.. lets look at every elo syndra win rate http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/syndra/all global: 49.6% bronze 49.6% silver 49.7% gold 49.8% plat 49.9% diamond + 49.7%
now ask yourself this... if that isn't the most balanced winrate you have ever seen... i want to see it...
From what I know, they dont. Kind of weird that she didnt get nerfed at all this patch tho.
There's a 'Balance Team'? Ha...
It's not that she's broken per se. It's that she has the ability to play very safely and retain the highest potential burst of any champion at level 6 while also having near reliable poke. Even if the matchup is not favorable, as the Riot commentators put it at Worlds: "You can be the best carry on the team, but Syndras flash R will tell you otherwise." Paraphrased, I just remember it along those lines because it annoyed me greatly to know that they were aware of this and didn't find it a problem at all that her ult is capable of being that oppressive as a point and click; while her laning is strong or safe, or both.
The downside being she can't fully manage multiple opponents or an extended teamfight like other control mages, but flipside: therefore is somehow perfectly acceptable to be in her niche of a tactical, lane controlling nuke that's safer and pops off earlier than a Veigar who needs to work for it. (I don't agree with Veigars ult either but Veigars first few ults aren't nearly as oppressive and his laning isn't that great as say, a Syndra.) Just think it's unhealthy and while is almost always a good pick, is usually not the optimal pick and so keeps her in a tier 2 type equivalent state with the meta shifts letting her hover in tier 1 equivalent comparative for sectional periods of time -- hence the reluctance to nerf her until that state is established firmly.
