IMO, ive seen many ap tanks go half ap, half tank and it isnt quite fair. Champions like amumu, zac etc. They can build solely full tank minus rabadons and ludens and just dish out tons of damage.

Kinda like how ad assassins are building like fighter top laners/ juggernauts for "survivability"

Their AP ratios are low, so they have to build tank. Only Chogath has insane ratios.
