I lost 16/20 normals because of new matchmaking

there is no lack of games with 2-4 diamonds and plats vs silvers and unranked

I just want to see how far this gets. I went from winning 60-70% of my normals to 20% ever since they changed matchmaking

Can you show it? Can't find it in the patchnotes.

It's not anything announced, it's just a drastic change that everybody noticed. Myself, I've been paired with/vs pre-30 players a DISGUSTING amount of times, and it's not even like they're smurfs, because I'll get asked how to get "that colored border you have" frequently. It's a far sight better than finding some challenger-tier players in my games, but I'd rather lose because I faced someone better than me, than lose because I got paired with people who just don't know the game.

that's been since s6, current one included... hundreds of threads about it, since...

how did you not notice it so far :D maybe you were lucky enough to not have encountered it?

Hmm ok, I didn't notice such things tbh.

Not even ranked and plays with diamond im calling boosting but most likely smurfing.

Higher elo players stop playing ranked at end of season and go on to play other queues due to poor match quality(boosted/boosted animals) and instead go play normals, understandable.

Its just some people do not play normals often and their mmr is much lower than their ranked mmr. If you want to see shitty match making quality play Twisted Treeline Flex. I was being placed against a team of master tier players when I was silver and had a gold and a bronze on my team. I honestly do not mind it once in awhile as I like the challenge and feel I learn more from playing against people who are better than I am
