Wait why are they destroying Bond of Stone?

It's only useful on some supports.... what gives? why destroy it? I thought they were trying to buff alternative keystones so we didn't see 10 Thunderlord's Decree in every game. This is literally only penalizing support players, for what reason I really don't know.

??!?!?

It's a straight up 33% reduction from what old 6% it had for support players... but it's a 33% buff for non supports. I guess Riot wants to give support players the finger?! Why?! what is the purpose of nerfing support players?

Bond of Stone [ Keystone Resolve ]

Flat damage reduction increased from 3% to 4%; Additionally, 6% of the damage taken by your closest ally from enemy Champions is dealt to you; No longer gives 6% Damage Reduction when near an allied Champion.

Jungler buff seems fine to me.

Yes it's a jungler buff but again, why the slap-to-the-face to supports?

I honestly don't get it.

maybe they are trying to push thunderlord's to be one of the only support mastery, idk

Because ADC players are actually frustrated with Bond of Stone supports.

When I have a Bond of Stone support on my team, I actually take MORE damage as ADC than I do with a different mastery support. Why? Because my support stands right on top of me to get Bond of Stone to work. This prevents me from moving freely, so I can't dodge skillshots. If I can't dodge skillshots because I can't go through my support to do so, I get hit by abilities that I would normally be able to dodge, so I take extra damage.

Instead though, they should be increasing the range that Bond of Stone affects, so Bond of Stone supports don't feel the need to block every step the ADC tries to take.

That's ... I mean... are you trolling? holy motherless goat there is so much wrong with the above quoted, but let's settle for the first five things; 1- You take less damage, by definition. That is the entire point. 2- There is no 'player restriction' due to the tether range of Bond of Stone, you can walk out of it freely. 3- Bad positioning is a function of bad play, not of mastery selection. 4- The range of Bond of Stone is great enough that you can move around from freely , more than enough to dodge skillshots. 5- None of those things would justify nerfing Bond of Stone.

To say that your arguments were bad would be a colossal understatement... I don't need to check your stats to know what I will find.... but I checked anyway and to the surprise of no one, I found exactly what I expected to find. Please, learn how keystones work before saying such nonsensical things. Riot actually reads these boards and they might be discouraged after they read things like that.
