I'm not sure of who to play or what to do when I'm in lane against an Azir. It feels like, no matter what, the Azir is extremely safe and ends up doing incredible amounts of damage with just a Nashor's Tooth, and ends up carrying games with how much his ult wins teams fights.
veigar is a pick that i've had success with against azir. Your range on q can be used to safely farm, and the e can be used to either engage or disengage from azir, with your ult providing the necessary damage to instantly win a fight against him.
Freelo champion...not much you can do. He wins teamfights by rightlicking from 800 range.
The higher the elo, the more Azir becomes a problem. Also starting 2-3 items he suddenly becomes a god even when behind.
Velcoz is a great pick post 6 u win all fights with the burst and safe poke u have....only item u need really is a blasting wand and u will out dange him np...just dont miss the skills shots haha

He does sustained damage, while all Lux needs to do is land a combo on him, albeit being trickier with his drifting mechanic.
Use Hextech RocketBelt to reposition and get out of range of his incoming insec or his soldiers.
assassins. am silver so take what i say with a grain of salt. I find assassins to work well against him . especially ad assassins because zhonyas give a good active but in combat its not as useful. kassadin if u dont feed him and get to level 12 or so. in team fights not many can outperform him in mid lane tho.
veigar can zone him out of his wall pulls with his E and he usually kills him in 1v1s.
