"Why Does Everyone Play Zed", is a question I see asked a lot.
Answer; he's too forgiving, and has a pretty toxic kit to play against.
You can't zone a Zed, first off. He can safely farm at his tower using his Shadow with Q+E. You can't shut down a Zed, his W gives him free bonus AD and acts as a flash on a lower cooldown. You can't stop Zed from diving a carry and assassinating him/her unless your team is willing to blow most of their CC/Ultimates/Summoners You can't stop Zed from spam harassing you with W+Q and W+E. Due to his incredibly low energy costs and how easy it is for him to restore energy, he essentially is a resourceless caster.
I don't know how to balance him, but I do know from a general consensus that his kit and him as a champion (Zed) is extremely toxic and counter-intuitive.
Riot, you've nerfed and reworked other champions for having kits with little to no counterplay, such as Veigar and Lux... so why is Zed remaining as he is?
