5.22 and Upcoming 5.23 may just end League.
Ever since Riot Games has become the #1 eSports Sport, they've stopped listening or caring about the rest of their player base that isn't the Pro Scene.
This has been proven, time and time again, with the ways Riot has chosen to balance the game, champions and ignore other champions.
Patch 5.22 and the upcoming Patch 5.23 (with the minion snowballing) has essentially cut their Champion Pool in half. Even more champions than in S5 are not viable, because of the fact that Early Game decides League of Legends games. When a team starts snowballing, there is almost nothing you can do to stop the team. Now with the proposed minion changes, whoever gets the first kill in Lane (and a 1+ Level Advantage) will automatically win that lane from that point on.
Sadly, Riot has shown absolutely nothing to address the numerous glaring issues that are in these patches, and the fact that they have essentially removed AP Junglers, AP Casters and strong team fight champions. Games now rely on a teams' pick potential, who can deal the most damage in the shortest amount of time and who can get out while doing both of those.
Essentially, League wants to make themselves more like DotA, I guess.
Sincerely, a disgruntled summoner and former AP Caster player.
