Should I be using fervor or warlords on Tryndamere?
Or maybe a different keystone?
Or maybe a different keystone?
hmm tryn auto attacks right?
fervor adds bonus damage on attacks? tryn likes to do damage
seems pretty simple
Trynd also is known for a rough <6 laning phase and has built-in crit for his kit
Rough laning phase + free crit, Trynd likes that Sustain
It comes down to preference really, but Warlords is definitely better when in a bad matchup
does he not have his sustain on his ability to consume his fury to heal him ?
but he sacrifices the damage that trynd likes so much by consuming his fury, and it's almost always not enough against a bully lane
and dont you take 5 points in the lifesteal mastery? and combine that with a dorans blade start
i think battle of fervor is way better then warlords
tbh, I don't actively play Tryndamere so I don't take either :^)
you could very well be right. Fervor is probably better in most situations, but I still think Warlords is the best one for rough matchups ie. Jayce, Teemo, Pantheon, etc
based on champion.gg his most popular mastery is fervor with a win % of 54.60% with the most common master set up. however the highest win rate mastery setup still has fervor with a 69.23% win rate
on op.gg fervor is picked 74.42% of the time with a 51.79% win rate where as warlords has a 17.23% pick rate with a 52.58% win rate and then stromraiders surge has a 6.22% pick rate with a 52.86% win rate
so multiple data shows that fervor is just over all better for the champ
but i always welcome conversation over the game
True, you should watch what you're saucing in the future though. Personally, I don't trust champion.gg for much oustide of a general win-rate and pick-rate for the champion as a whole.
Besides that, it's important to note that the 69.23% win rate is out of a 26 game sample, that's not nearly enough to trust that statistic in the slightest :p
Although I agree, Fervor is generally better in most matchups but Warlords seems like an almost must-have in lanes where Tryndamere will be bullied out. Fervor is generally better while Warlords should probably be taken in rough matchups, but it really comes down to preference and play-style
i just used the 69.23% win rate as an example of more then one data point and if you look at that set up the only mastery different between that set up and the most common one is the changing using perseverance to fearless in the resolve tree.. all 29 other masteries are the same ...
true, it makes me wonder who the 1-2 people are in plat+ elo that take that mastery setup. Why do they differ from the rest and how have they found so much success in the 15-30 games he/they had compared to the rest?
who knows
well considering it gives your bonus armor/mr when u take damage makes him tanker in trades therefore harder to kill
It better allows you to cheese early as well, and snowball from there.
It's pretty much down to preference i think. they can/are both pretty good on him. I'd say that warlords would be better than FOB if you were in a poor matchup.
