Riot, you guys need to listen and stop making horrible changes.

"Nami and Ahri are incredibly powerful in their respective roles at all MMR's. Makes sense to nerf them.

We will be hitting Jhin's HoB synergy this patch. Currently there's a bug where about 80% of the time Jhin gets HoB's AS bonus applied on his first attack (this makes him THE FAST when he crits with stormrazor). All other champions in the game don't get the AS until AFTER their first attack. We'll be fixing Jhin to be in line with the rest of the roster (only gets AS on attacks 2 and 3)."

Right now, at this very moment, Riot Jinxylord is at -80 DOWNVOTES. For this post on nerfing Ahri and Nami.

Ever since the start of this season, Riot's credibility on balance has gone down severely and is still falling into the black pit with every. damn. change. you freaking make. People aren't happy and you CONTINUE to make stupid changes, like these. You make stupid changes like:

  • Incorporation of Runes Reforged and removal of runes and masteries, which has: increased damage significantly, lowered defenses, took out customization on builds, and has snowballed the game into the horrible damagefest and unpopular game it is today for many people.
  • Buff champions that don't need it AT ALL (Pyke, Ali, Thresh), only because of one thing- LC$ big plays, therefore showing that all Riot **cares **is $$$$$ and not about the rest of the 99.9% of the community.
  • Give the nerfbat to those that REALLY don't need it (Nami), even giving nerfs to champs that actually need buffs.
  • Removal of some of our favorite parts of the game- Team Builder, the other map mode (can't remember name).
  • Constantly ignoring older champions (Karma, etc) and always giving others priority even multiple times (Ryze).
  • Same goes for skins of older champs.
  • Changing champions into completely different champs during their rework, therefore stripping them of their identity and taking away everything people loved about them (Galio, Eve, etc).

And much more.

Seriously Riot. What gives? Why have you ruined the game so much and continue to do so? People have been crying out about how horrible the game has become since the start of this season, and **YOU STILL HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT! **Instead, you continue to keep pushing out god awful changes and with that think that people are happy with it, when they really are NOT.

I have been here since season 4, and I have never been so astonished and angry at Riot for continuing to making the game I love horrible. I honestly wonder how a lot of you were even hired at this point because its just making me shake my head in disbelief at everything you guys have done and continue to do.

Stop this crap, Riot. Because if you don't, League won't be around much longer.

Nerfing Ahri and Nami is great. Riot should have done this a long time ago.

I wouldn't say Runes Reforged took away lots of flexibility. Maybe a little, but mostly, it just streamlined the pregame process.

Just look at Licorice's Aftershock Lissandra.

Theorycrafting had largely died out when people started flaming for anyone that played anything other than the Korean-tuned best numbers. And honestly, all that RR really took away was MagicPen that Zyra used to go with early (because the ratios on her plants' autos are trash).

Fast Forward to today and SO many champs are viable. Maybe not optimal but viable... moreso than I think any previous meta. League is at its healthiest in years, I believe.

I have issues with this. The Pyke and Thresh buffs aren't LCS big play buffs, its buffs to give the more agency and rewards for being good at the champ. Thresh's hook consumes a ton of mana, and Pyke's execute can be countered by heals and stasis.

Pyke however does need a nerf, and I think ways to do that is: Nerf the duration he can hold Q for, and nerfing his armor from 45 to something like 38 or 36, and lower the damage ratios on all of his stuff but R. In compensation, you make the health to AD conversion better (not massively, but lower the health part), so if pyke were to get something like Black Cleaver, he could gain some good AD from it compared to now. "But isn't that gonna make people still want to build tank?" Maybe, but as I said, his ratios would be lowered, so even though his conversion got better, he'd still have to build AD items to get close to his original damage ratios. So if he builds tankier, he loses damage on his spells and some heal power from his passive (because its tied to a AD ratio itself).

As for Ali, idk why people say he got buffs other than the old ass buff from 7.20 that gave him a bit more damage reduction. Thats it. Doesn't mean he can mega tank forever. The only reason why he seems "strong" is because of Aftershock. I feel like they should change it from being this Armor MR thing that procs on cc, to something like damage reduction for a set time, and the cooldown gets lowered. That way tanks just dont gain hella free defensive stats from it that affects certain skills (Leona W, Malph W, Sej passive, etc) that gives these tanks more stats than expected.

I think the nerfs are good... I also think they're looking over some other things though.
