Woo! [slayer-jinx-catface] Woo!

Anyone got any questions about Supports, Zilean, or the current bot-meta? Does anyone still feel like Zilean can't cut it as a support? i still get flack or dodges occasionally because of it!

Against which champions/bot lane compositions does he struggle, against which is he favored?

Without getting too much into it, Mobility is arguably his biggest enemy. He's usually a VERY good pick against any AP or damage-focused comp. If they favor shields, like Janna it tends to come down to skill and runes, you can play for the late game and win a surprising amount of games.

Favorable matchups: Jhin Draven Ashe Annie Bard Braum Lux KogMaw Rakan

Neutral/Skill based: Janna Jinx MissFortune Nami Leona Lulu Taric Blitzcrank Xayah Zyra Brand

Bad Matchups: Caitlyn Lucian Morgana Vayne Twitch Karma Kalista Sivir

Special Case: Yasuo He is one of the best counter-picks in the game to Zilean. I ban him often.

XinZhao Volibear Tryndamere Udyr Singed MasterYi Rammus Hecarim Zilean synergizes really well with any champion who needs movement speed and/or mobility. **If your jungler or top is one of these, you can single-handedly allow them to carry the game in your favor with your E. **

First Congrats, Secondly time for my questions.

1-Do you feel sight stones are mandatory low elo? Lets say bronze/silver 2-What makes Zillean unique as a support? Where do you feel he fits and does not fit 3-the mind set a zillean player should have?

1.) Yea, absolutely. It just builds good habits all around. ** Vision is the one of the biggest things you bring your team! ** If you keep trying to skirt the vision game in favor of more power, your going to get wrecked down the line, when you run into opponents who track your items, and are very aware that you have no control of your vision down bottom. And once the game scales into mid-to-late game, where a single teamfight or initiate can be devastating to the team, it becomes even more critical.

Also, I DO feel like 2 seasons ago, you could get away with this more, but now - with the dragon being such a high priority target and Bot-lane becoming so fragile, Mid and/or Jungle roaming bottom is extremely common. Vision or no, you must be ready for it.

Best advice i can give for warding in general is to be active. Most players will tell you to ward specific spots like Dragon and Baron, eh.. That is important, but its MORE important to know what locations are safe and unsafe. **Always know if traveling to a location is safe. **

2/3.) He's got a lot going for him - he can be super bursty, he brings a metric ton of CC to the table, he can deny areas, has some vision tricks of his own, and his ultimate is one of the best counter-initiate tools in the game. As for mindset? It varies wildly - it depends on how the game goes - if I trust my ADC, then My goal is to keep them alive at all costs while keeping the enemy stunned for as long as possible. If I dont trust my ADC, then I have to get creative, pick a new person to protect / carry the game myself / try to stall out the game with strong wave clear.

It also has an incredibly good gold value. 75g pink to deny you dying (say 1 time) to an enemy gank, that's 300g you didn't give to the enemy, + gold and xp for yourself for CSing.

Very much so - Infact I think one of the biggest differences between Platinum+ players and the rest is realizing just how much a death costs you. Most new or inexperienced players think they are doing good when they score a kill or assist, **but I think its far more important to stay alive. **

One thing I do wish we had was more Vision options. I do think the vision game is a bit stagnant. I'd like to see: 1.) More items that deal with vision as a primary thing, not just 'support trinkets' .. I wish every role had a vision item option, and not just a token trinket. 2.) Better trinket options. There could be so much more here than the current format. 3.) More vision baked into supports kits. Imagine bringing a champion because he brings more map-awareness and vision control.

I'll have to let you know - generally speaking, things haven't changed much from high gold elo. I've heard around Platinum 3/2 is where things start getting cutthroat.

yeah, its exactly like that... but games are more tilting cause ur m8 don't care about win (cause they have low chance to demote).

From what i heard worse elo are the V & I.
