Final League Review after 1387 hours of testing

Recently I've found quite a few games (warframe, stardew valley, gone home, etc.) and for once I actually had fun.

For the longest time I havne't been able to have fun playing league. The community is just so damn toxic I don't understand why but WE are, including myself.

All in all, if a game isn't edifying is some way or another, then its not worth the time.

So far I've put in 1,387 hours (roughly 57 complete days) into this game over the past 4 seasons, I played casually, and the only time I progressed in ranked and won 80% of my games was when I was playing 20 minutes of Cs warm ups, 1 normal match warm up, and 2 ranked games a day in solo que. Giving 3-4 hours a day to a game where in a few months I'd be reset right back to where I came from with nothing personally to show for it, and the only real thing you get is a colored banner.. thats it, for all that time you temporarily get a banner.

I think I keep playing league now only because of how much time i've put in, I don't want that to be for nothing, and I don't spend a lot of money on the game, maybe 20 bucks every once in a while.. but after 4 or 5 years that seems somewhere in the 300.00 dollar range... For a single game... all those games I mentioned above at the top cost me a total of 15.00 (warframe is free btw.) 15.00 and I've already had much more fun than I've had in the last few months of league.

League no longer feels like a game to me, it feels like a cancerous tumor attached to my body, I want to get rid of it. So I am.

I'm uninstalling, honestly i'd probably just give away my account, anyways, I just don't see why league is fun anymore. My roomates always asks me, "why do you play if you're not having fun?" He tried League and quit soon after, the community, the chat, the unbalanced teams, etc. It made him quit and I should have too.

Even a lot of avid youtubers are starting to want to do different content. Playing league is like getting a heroine fix after being addicted, you don't really get a high anymore, your brain just requires the drug to function.

Time to wing myself off league. It's unhealthy for mine and many other peoples health. Mental and physical. Sorry Riot. You just didn't become the company i thought you would.

Riot probably will perma ban your account because selling accounts are not allowed i'm pretty sure.

Never said it cost money, I just said it wouldn't be free, I'd like some ice cream mailed to me XD

Giving away accounts isn't illegal im sure

Not sure...

also... It won't come cheap though, my acct won't be free, too much of a waste to let it go for free. Anyways, I'm uninstalling, I just don't have fun playing league anymore.

^ Sounds very money to me. FeelsMoneyMan

You're not technically allowed to have a smurf

Your allowed to have smurfs? As long as you leveled it yourself.

how do you know how long you have played for in hours?

It's an average. Most matches, over the years, have averaged 30min to 50min. Some used to last well over an hour. So I just added how many games I've played and times'd it by the average game length. Then divided the minutes into hours and the hours into days.

I'm always like, "I'm gonna quit this garbage game."

But I'm always here a few months later. I've accepted my fate.

I can at least tell you that Warframe gets stale after a while too. I obtained every single frame (primes too) and all available weapons, Mastery Level 21 (highest possible at the time, probably enough stuff for 22 now), and then just kinda dropped it. It stopped being fun when there was nothing left to unlock, and no meaningful competetion (I was WAAY better at everything than most of my clan of ~300). The game was great while it lasted, but it didn't have anything to hold my interest once I "beat" it.

I still play Warframe fairly often in part because new players give me something to do in it and there is common enough updates that I can usually fine somethign to make it worthwhile.

Well that and being in a alliance that likes to try and break the game, speed run raids and the likes helps.

I spent a huge amount of time helping out new players in the clan. Hung around answering any and all questions, gave them some of the essential yet slightly rare mods to get them started, etc. Helping is tons of fun, but it still got old after a while.

Brb, playing Rocket League =P
