still not 47% where it was, in addition he still has a useless W which can only be used as follow up to a team fight or a jungle camp. veigar has no problem wave clearing with Q to get a full 6 AP every wave once he has his morellos.

veigar needs to be able to defend himself. he cant do that right now and still wont be able to after the changes.

Yeah, but they are making his poke better and generally safer it seems. I don't know if they really want to touch his W.

at this point veigar is becoming a 2 trick pony, stay out of the fight and just poke with Q for days. if possible, drop your ult if the squishy adc/ap mid tries to attack you.

stun, fine, ok, ill drop it anyway. RIP meteor.

He used to just be a one trick pony.

"blow something up" (yea, which is what veigar mains want). doesnt matter what, if its 1 target, and we land our oh so important skill shot stun, we want it dead.

his stun gave him much more breathing room to make plays for his team, that was substantially more important than any single target burst he once had.

i would prefer it if they just undid any changes to veigar, i liked old bursty veigar.

Old veigar was also a better support than literally every other support with just one ability.

I'm glad its gone.

annie, still better, more damage, and a more reliable stun. AND gets it much more frequently. people liked it on veigar because the enemy team couldn't see it coming and because it had a longer duration.

Korea was spamming it before the change.

Much lower CD, bigger range, longer stun by far. It was ridic.

His Q has Breen buffed up to 950 on pbe. He needn't be deep in lane at all now. On top of that, he's getting more regen and lower cooldowns on baleful strike.

not likely until they deal with the Q and W issue. The minor shot up was due to E being useful again.

"minor"

He went up 6-8%

His Q is getting pretty overloaded right now, especially with the 950 range on PBE. He still doesn't feel any better to play though, so I'm probably still going to main someone else for mid lane from now on.

Doesn't feel any better? His Q is so fast and furious now dawg.

They've given him an option outside of old Q range where he doesn't just fish for stuns and can now throw damage at people, which I... kinda like? I thought it was much more fun to be taking a big risk to blow someone up immediately and now I can just whittle most people down from a range that a lot of people can't do much about.

Not to mention the visual clarity on Q is horrendous, there's no indicator of anything hitting other than giant chunks of health disappearing. Most abilities like this have some sort of sound effect at the very least, for that extra 'oomph' and to tell people that "hey, this guy just chunked you."

Even when I'm absurdly fed with Veigar, he's lost so much of his appeal I feel like an asshole for getting gifted the Final Boss skin. I don't think Riot's handled him well.

Hey, I'm with you. They're making him better. He may not be as good as he once was, but he's a hell of a lot better than the notorious 5.4 patch

Veigar is going to experience the Cassiopeia syndrome. Riot is going to buff him until he's over powered, then nerf him back to balanced. Imo his stun is fine as it is now, and hitting it isn't even hard because people underestimate the delay. Not to mention the range and cooldown and mana buffs on pbe are probably going to overload him. Currently, poking with Q and W is easy and ssafe, and the W will land once in a while, stun or no.
