A few years ago Veigar's ult was 100% - 100%

Then randomly changed to 120% - 80% Why? Who knows.

He's really struggling right now (44% winrate on a champion's main lane+role and he isn't super difficult to play), and since riot seems to love Veigar's identity as an anti mage this would be a pretty nice revert and it'd help him out a bit with his niche of being picked into AP champions.

So, the enemy AP factor would be changed to 100% from 80% like how it was a few years ago to balance out the overall less damage he does now than he did back in the day.

Thoughts?

Or they could just revert his 5.21 nerfs.

Buff him in 5.18 and he becomes OP for 3 patches so they throw the hammer down and nerf his base damage big time.

Meanwhile he was just strongly favored by the meta and had previously been a rare pick, so it's no wonder he did so well after the buff. The nerfs were rushed because few learned to play against him - mages still rushing morello instead of chalice / abyssal...

Meanwhile we get the ridiculous champion balance issues since preseason and 4 (soon to be 5) patches later we're still seeing no meaningful nerfs to some of these outliers...

Riot doesn't ever revert changes though, there was a guy who went over that sadly enough.

They went to nerf Lee, then a bunch of fucking idiots told them not to and they did it because #LC$BIGPLAY$

"it's a season after patch 4.20 and I just got fucking blazed anyways"

At least people accepted it back then. Today, League has become a circlejerk of FoTM champions and people losing instantly in champ select.

Also yeah, your last statement.

Tbh i'm surprised that they don't have nothing in mind for veigar during immobile mages update. I mean he's not in a really good spot right now and some new interaction of W with E would be cool to see.

There was a patch where he was with a 50% winrate (it was this summer?) then they buffed him out of nowhere and made him op for no reason at all (or they wanted to see him picked at LCS? I dunno)... After that he got hammered to where he is now.

The problem are not just the nerfs he received but also the current meta where games ends a lot faster and you don't really have time to scale.
