I've never seen a new champ played as little on release on live?

Is it me, or is there hardly any interest in Taliyah? Even on release she was hardly played?

For me, she's just really boring. None of her abilities stand out, they're bland. She also feels weak when you're playing her, even if/when you get ahead and snowball as her, she doesn't feel impactful on the game. I'm sure that this is because her only really damaging ability is her Q, and it has limited use due to the "worked ground" crap.

Let's compare it to a really popular champion; Yasuo Yasuo actually feels nice to play, he feels powerful, nimble and impactful if he gets ahead. Taliyah... she's squishy, easy to kill, doesn't have a lot of control despite being a control mage, and her damage makes her feel weaker than Bard mid.

imo, Riot should have given her Ultimate damage, or made it so that her W and E could be cast at the same time, rather than having them delay one another by 1.5s. There's also the fact that her minefield definitely feels like a really useless ability in her kit.
