Y'all hate assassins? Allow me to introduce you to our one true mid laner.
This day and age, if the assassins cant get a kill on you they usually just leave lane to go get one elsewhere
Very safe laning phase due to Rebirth, long range, and hard cc that is easier to land point blank than it is to use long range. Good luck against Anivia if you are 
because they just cant compete with you in lane.
Post six with new masteries mean you rarely need to leave lane, and you will be gaining so much health from waveclear with 
+ the Spell Vamp rune (Yes you do run this!)
Enemy assassins are forced to choose if they want exp and farm, or kills. Warding the lane and excessively pinging is a good way to show the assassin is roaming, so hes pretty much forced to stay in lane and get shutdown.
